Nah you're right. Nords and Dunmers have 6% extra stamina but that's it.

I',m starting to hate this game desu. The PvP guild I'm in is led by a circlejerking TS circle, and the enemies are equally circlejerking TS ganking groups.
They got mad at me for dropping the scroll when there was like 2 people escorting me out of a fucking 20 man group.

I feel like it's kind of the opposite. I started a new alt recently on DC side, and where 2 months ago you could meet maybe 10 people while going through the starter zones, now it was fucking full of assholes. Game hasn't felt more alive in a very long time.

I'm starting to hate the pvp because the large scale pvp is shit with the performance provided. Battlegrounds can't come fast enough. And yea the circlejerk in pvp guilds makes it just boring, I mean how the fuck is it fun to have 10 ppl all sneak to a farm, take it, and then just wait in the tower, get killed, and do the same shit all over again?

I think it's more returning players lately, myself including.

I agree about large scale. It was a novelty that got old real fast. I'm waiting on structured battlegrounds myself. In the meantime I'll just keep ganking IC because I refuse to respec my magblade to stam and ganking is all magblades are good for

I can't play anything else but Argonian after years of being comfortable with every shitty pot being a tri-pot and those few thousand extra health you get, and we don't have meme's that aren't stolen from other places.

So are pets brought out by armour affected by the sorcerers passives that affect pets? Are Morkuldin and Infernal affected such as Rebate?

Pretty sure rebate specifically mentions daedric summon so the Morkuldin and infernal wouldn't be affected.

I am on EU and I am playing just fine. Few hours ago I had some stupid lag spikes even though ping tab was around 90-120 (completely normal for me) that could be my internet doe.

EU servers are wonky af who knows? However make sure to check that your connection is fine.

True. I'm glad they aren't afraid of using somewhat obscure parts of the lore. Order of the Hourglass haven't been a thing since bloody Daggerfall and then they popped up as the main antagonists in the Dark Brotherhood story.

I'm thinking about getting this game right about now and letting it install overnight. Is Gold Edition worth it? I want to play a mage and don't care about the thieves guild, only want the dark brotherhood for their robe, and feel indifferent about orsinium. Imperial city could be nice but I typically avoid pvp, though it might be different for this game. The way I see it I could either buy tamriel unlimited for 30€, drop another 20€ to get 3000 crowns, spend 2000 of them on dark brotherhood, spend 200 on the patriarch beard, and have another 800 left with no additional dlc. Or I could throw in the 50€ for gold edition and do the dlcs whenever I feel like it, even if it means I might never really touch them, then throw in the minimum amount of extra money to get enough crowns for my beard.

Or I could grab tamriel unlimited and go ESO Plus™ for a month and see how we do.

Am I overthinking this? Special editions confuse me.

And yes, the more I think about it the more obvious the answer to my first question seems. Thank you for your answer.

Right now, stamina based abilities and weapons are stronger than magicka based ones in pretty much every aspect. And Eric Wrobel is the lead combat designer and responsible for the balance.

And the next patch will give stamina users even bigged buffs.

It's important to say tho that the imbalance between magicka and stamina probably aren't noticed by people who haven't reached end-game or do a lot of PvP, and before spring 2016 magicka users had been top dogs since the games release.

Originally it was, I think, some argument over balancing stamina so it could be on par with magic. Which was reasonable. So they proceeded to butcher hyrbids(stam/magic mix), made it so you have to put your points into all magic or all stamina if you want to do any sort of damage unless you're a tank. Now this wouldn't be so bad if the people they were listening to weren't a vocal minority, but they were. So stamina has been getting buffs non-stop for the last several updates while magic is getting nerfed and gutted in each one.

From a technical point, it's more that magic has a much much harder time since everything now is "big numbers? go stam and don't even try with only the barest knowledge of a rotation" but it's still technically viable for most pve content. pvp is just straight cancer like usual in regards to an mmo.

Eric "If you have a staff, I'll break it in half" Wrobel has just recently become the face of mage hate because he mentioned something about being in charge of balance and then OT hit pts and was nothing but stamina love.

Magic was overpowered as fuck since launch. Now it's not as good as stamina.

None of that matters unless you're trying to go for veteran trial top minmax bullshit. You want to be a sorc and still experience 95% of the game; go ahead. You can.

I think I understand. This might not affect me since I don't actually intend to play this as my primary mmo, but rather as something in-between content draughts which FFXIV has a lot of and the like, which should be reasonable since this game has no sub and there's no real pressure. Sounds like it must suck for the dedicated mage players and pvpers though. I hope they fix it eventually.

Who knows, there are some that keep hope and think it'll eventually get fixed because god knows those knew sets are a mess and favor stamina too heavily.

You know what ogres are? Blue.
You know what other humanoids are blue and live in the black marches?
Kothringi. What if they're both related, and Ogres are just Kothringi who somehow grew more resistant to physical trauma and diseases and emigrated out from Black marshes to all over Tamriel?

It would explain so much. Ogres being Kothringi that have a tendency to quickly evolve to suit their environment would explain why ogres in Wrothgar have fur while the ones in the south, including Black Marshes, don't. Both races are also fairly primitive, and have a tendency to show a lot of skin in their armour while utilizing pointy hats. We also know that ogres do art in their spare time and can use magic, just like the Kothringi.
