Probably why Oblivion and Skyrim were so shit compared to Morrowind. 8 years since a major release between Daggerfall and Morrowind. 4 years from Morrowind to Oblivion and 5 years between Oblivion and Skyrim. I don't think Oblivion was that bad, but Skyrim's base game is just trash compared to the rest.
