pls respond

Do you have bios files?

...

Yes. The initial setup worked fine, it just thinks I have no disc in even though I've selected the iso already.

Has anyone played MadWorld with a controller? Can you post your profile? I've been having trouble with the swinging commands in game.

>Dreamcast emulation better than ever following demul's recent yearly update
So is it shinier shit or legit good now

Show me what this looks like for you.

I read one of your previous posts. Try changing deadzones if that's a thing maybe? I've never tried to emulate wiimote movement.

It works a lot better. Crazy Taxi used to be so broken I wouldn't play it, now it's pretty close to a real DC.

As you can see, I've already tried 3 different isos of the same game, but they've all given me a rsod.

>It works a lot better. Crazy Taxi used to be so broken I wouldn't play it, now it's pretty close to a real DC.
Is it faster? I can't play Shenmue because of the slowdown on my PC. My PC *IS* a bit of a turd but it can run PCSX2 and Dolphin WAY faster.

I don't know about faster really, but it seems closer to original hardware.

This window?
What version are you running?

1.4.0

Hmm?

You should use a newer dev version, 1.4.0 is old as grandpa.
Try changing the GSdx to one of the SSE ones.
Have you definitely selected a bios? Just having them in the folder isn't necessarily enough.

I'm running the USA 2.3.0 BIOS. I'll try messing with the GSDx and try a new version if that doesn't work.

I assume you mean 2.20, there is no 2.3.

Do all your games just instantly crash? Can you get a picture?

I just assumed the latest one would be the best since nobody in any of the setup tutorials I watched mentioned it. Did I get bamboozled? Should I try a different BIOS?
>Do all your games just instantly crash
It just goes straight from the startup screen to the "please insert a playstation or playstation 2 format disc" screen.

Dude, I don't think 2.30 is a thing. It's not a bios I've ever had. use the 2.20 one I've got here.

...

wake me up inside

Interesting. Well I take back what I said about that bios. Working well for me. Thanks for letting me realise I was using the wrong one all this time.
Try booting cdvd fast instead of full.

Or maybe configure the gigaherz cdvd plugin so it's definitely on iso.

got madworld to work, but i have to use some really specific stick and trigger movements to get things to work.

ima go hack my wii

If you have a wii then why not connect your wiimote to you PC? No bluetooth?

Don't forget to donate to zilmar for creating such an amazing emulator. He deserves it.

I've tried both. They both give the same RSOD. At this point, I think the problem is with this shitty bios I downloaded from the piratebay. Is there a well-known website where I can download one, or should I just go through the effort and take one from the PS2 in my basement?
Changed it to that, I thought you were onto something but that didn't work either.
(can't wake up)

Get your bioses form the emugen wiki site.

>He deserves it.
he really does

What happened to gametech wiki?

emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/Emulator_Files
Is this it? I can't get the site to load.

Died. Nobody can get in touch with the guy who ran it. We had backups though.

no
NO

replace gametechwiki with miraheze you dumb newfag
i am wasting 5 minutes of captcha loading on you i hope you're happy

The wiki is linked in the OP.

I put so much effort into the OPs, but I barely reach anyone.

Thanks. I'm sorry, I didn't realize the OP had the up to date one. When I googled it and tried to download the BIOS, there was only a text file that told me to go to gametechwiki.

Does anyone know where all the hashes were sourced? Like is there a verified archive somewhere of all the consoles BIOSes?

is ok bb

...

ReDump.

I remember downloading this game to play on Dolphin for the sole reason that it was one of the few GameCube games that supported native widescreen.

I literally expected nothing of the game and I was still disappointed.

...

why is sgb in retroarch linux still not working?

...

why does dq8, one of the most intensive games on pcsx2, run at full speed on my pc while okami only gets like 90% most of the time

this is weird

how are you measuring the intensiveness of these games?

there's a list of cpu and gpu intensive games and dq8 is on both of em

How immature.

By feeliometer, of course.

>You should use a newer dev version, 1.4.0 is old as grandpa.
I still use 1.2.1 because I tried a 1.5ish dev ver and it is no faster.

link?

thx m8

That's scary

Every game I want to play is GPU intensive and I have no GPU

The games are still fun at native.

JRPGs aren't fun at any resolution, m8. I play to experience their beautiful stories and cinema scenes.

But user
JRPGs are fun
only the good ones though
a lot of them suck

If the gameplay is not fun, why do you even want to waste your time?

Watch a walkthrough on Youtube, and just fast forward through the combat.

My PS4 controller won't work with P64 despite it working with literally everything else and my keyboard working with P64. What do.

do you have an xinput wrapper?

youtube.com/watch?v=kJjfVDb5RuQ&feature=share

I use DS4Windows

>Watch a walkthrough on Youtube,
I've tried but it does not give the same feel, especially when there's awful artifacts all over the video since it's Youtube.

ugh... and people are in love with these GUIs...

>I play to experience the kawaii lolis, desu

Wrong type of JRPG, fag. I'm talking Squaresoft style ones.

it should work then

check your input config

Is Citra mature enough yet?

>plays JRPGs
>calls others fags

>READ THE WIKI BEFORE ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS LIKE "WHERE I GET GAMES?" OR "WHAT AM GOOD EMULATOR?"
seriously. we have this question every fucking thread. LOOK IT UP

emulation.miraheze.org/w/index.php?title=Citra&action=history
>last updated: 24 August 2016
Sorry I'll just assume the wiki is often up to date from now on.

THIS is the way games were meant to be played!

I don't seem to be able to configure it properly

the wiki is fucking outdated for a lot of things. only noobs look at that messy wiki

Can a i3 6100/ GTX 950 build run pretty much every emulator available (except the ps3/xbox 360/ wii u ones)?

you can still easily find this shit on google. why would you ask something about citra when you can find like 1000s of videos of it running

That part of the GUI is basically never used since the defaults are 'right'

What's the clock rate on your CPU? Are the i3's still dual core?

mine's worse and can so sure. you should try citra and cemu, they MIGHT work

...

citra rae jepsen

so at what point will decrypted 3ds roms be the norm on rom sites
why does no one do it now

...

3.7 GHz, still dual core, 4 threads.
Yeah, guess I'll try them, shouldn't be SO demanding.

That's like asking when will roms with headers be the norm on rom sites

Just use a 3DS and decrypt them yourself. It's not like you're gonna get far in the 3DS scene without an actual, physical 3DS anyways since Citra is still shit

ughhh
i have a homebrewable one around my house somewhere but i gotta find it

except one isn't needed to run on emulators and one is

Both are modifying the original dump of the game

...

fair enough
will there ever be a decrypter on pc?

As soon as the faggots with bootrom either release it or get hacked.

Then fix it, you lazy fuck.

Trying out PPSSPP on my Galaxy S7 and it basically just crashes every time I load a game. WTF? Only workaround I've found thus far is disabling Dynarec JIT. Am I doing something wrong?

Does epsxe 2.05 just not work on Windows 10? I have everything from the BIOS, plugins, to the dll to the visual basic and c++ packages, and it still crashes on booting an ISO.

>the wiki is fucking outdated for a lot of things

Like what?

Try deleting the ePSXe settings registry key and load it up after.

>epsxe
>windows 10
>can't even run it in the first place
the only solution is suicide
