There looked like a good discussion going in last thread too.

Yeah, I really don't think that Eliza's blood mechanics would have been fair.
Also... Sauce?

Nancy OP
Bless your soul

there's another, much older lz general thread but the op is really bad

hopefully they can all migrate to this less meme arrow op thread

Jesus fucking Christ could Nancyfags be any more autistic?

I'm curious too perfect how the blood mechanic would have forced a higher age rating onto the game when they get away with shit like:
>Nadia's blood jets
>Val's infinite prevention
>Double in general

When did anyone ever say that was the problem? Blood was cut because PS3 has no RAM.

>but the op is really bad
No one else would do it, fuck you.

I was mainly referring to the Indiv talk, but yeah, I remember the Eliza talk a couple threads back.

I dunno, I think the blood mechanic would have turned out fine if Mike pursued it. Mira has a similar idea in KI and she's not OP (relatively).

Besides, Mike's demo was just a demo, we can't really say for sure how the blood pools would have been used, or how much of a "comeback" they would have presented. If she had to get hit to start generating them, then it's already a more limited resource than Super Meter.

What if say, the range on her DP was based on pooled blood gathered around her, i.e. you couldn't do M/H DP without a certain amount of blood resource nearby. Most of us would actually consider that a nerf wouldn't we?

>eliza dps remove her clothes
>blood is her clothes
>she was at first supposed to drop pools of blood when hit
damn she would have needed so much more spritework but it would've been glorious

It's technical, not ratings.

>I'm curious too perfect how the blood mechanic would have forced a higher age rating
Because you're an idiot.

This is common sense, and thankfully Mike has said this on stream, but there is a difference in blood being shown and actively attacking someone and making them bleed.

you gotta admit ratings guidelines are always pretty whack though.
like do they think teenagers don't know where blood comes from?

and it's not just games either, I remember on old commentary for BatmanTAS,
they said the TV ratings board back then wouldn't let em show characters using handguns,
but tommy guns were okay! so they just had all the bad guys use those instead! genius

some Thorani for good luck

More Thorani!
Dear lord muh dick

...

wow lotta minette love.

is that just a fanartist or were those postcards for LZ?

>Still not playable

...

...

Pretty cute for a Deep One

...

Have you lot seen the PS4 dynamic theme they've created? It looks awesome!

of course! and the video's in OP

they also showed the theme for a little bit at the last Salty stream too,
and you got hear a little more of the new kikuta song. all the music is really nice so far.

Hey, I'm new to this game, anyone want to play?

...

Skullgirls is shit

-/fgg/

Can't right now I'm at work

You should try signing up for this group though: steamcommunity.com/groups/sgggr8#
I haven't done the online tourney, but I've done Casuals with some of the members

Thank you for that valuable bit of insight

...

Was just there lurking, I know. No news here.

according to that one guy who comes here all the time, everyone that hates SFV plays skullgirls.

if only that were true :3

Can you say the same for MvC2 players?

>everyone that hates SFV plays skullgirls.

Everyone that hates SFV also hates skullgirls and play better games.

Unless by better games you mean MKX, we might have to assume that most of those players are either Japanese, or dead.

You remember the guy tracking Revelator numbers, right?

>You remember the guy tracking Revelator numbers, right?
And he showed the numbers during dead times, yes? You play Skullgirls, you should know a game is playable as long as there are two players in close regions ready.

I showed them during both.

US barely gets 100 players total in Revelator. It's mostly 70 on the US East server.

*gasp* so even the newest Guilty Gear has dead times?

So that probably means fighting games are so dead in general,
that I shouldn't even worry about what games are relevant,
and instead just enjoy what I want to enjoy!

I never said anything about relevancy or I'd be sucking SFV and even more so eSport dick.

Live damnit

I'm trying here

>Ran into Souls over at /aco/
>Made me think of /sgg/
>Not only is it now /lzg/ but it's deader than ever

I miss the good old days

thread is dead, but at least LZ is alive.

/lzg/ will be the most alive when indivisible comes out

Maybe we'll be busy again with Indi's release. Or if SG 2 happens.

>you gotta admit ratings guidelines are always pretty whack though.
Most certainly.

Sexual urges with the fish

at least let her finish highschool man.

all fish gotta go to school.

Are completely natural and accepted here. Fish was built for breeding.

CUTE.

Mobile might bring a nice bump too. We'll see.
I get the feeling the JP market might actually get more excited for it than the other regions.

Japs love fucking phone games. Their market is so casual it's almost not funny.

Is anyone actually enjoying SG Mobile? Feels like a total crapshoot when the game literally has no neutral, just tap and hope you get the confirm.

Sounds a lot like the desktop/console version to me.

Nice meme.

Don't worry, the people here will find ways to make SG mobile's gameplay deep, smart and rewarding.

I know you're shitposting but sadly you're probably right.

bump

>bumping 5 minutes after the thread got bumped last
Are you stupid?

yes

Right now Mobile's gameplay is just against CPUs, so there's only so much you can do.
Neutral's kinda irrelevant when you're just trying to look for AI patterns.

Not sure if PvP is even something they can balance well in this system.
I guess most people that download it will probably just mash buttons anyway.
Just like 90% of fighting game players.

They said they're not even sure if they'll do PvP.

They said currently that it's really only vs bots right now and that it's not supposed to at all feel like a port of the fightan.

tunak tunak tungar!

>6 party members

>dude racism xD
Thats honestly very childish

thanks for the bump

no pvp would be sad
bad online pvp would also be sad

I definitely wouldn't want them to implement it if they didn't thoroughly test it through Beta first.

From what I remember in the Anime Expo they said they're looking into the PvP but it won't be available at launch. It's apparently difficult due to it being a fighting game and mobile lag being an absolute bitch.

yes they could be fortunefags

abloobloobloo

I thought you hated Tumblr.

They could make an AI Battle mode where people throw their leveled up characters against each other.
Add in a little betting system with those crystals or whatever, and you'd probably get a nice little phone distraction goin.

Any lobbies open?

...

So are we seriously going to wait until inflationfag makes the next OP?

shut up homo

I guess right now we're just waiting on the next stream, or whatever they got to show us next.

oh and Ceotaku at the end of this month, so that'll be fun!

there's a /v/ thread for indivisible

Link it bruv

More lewd!

...

It has a shitpost generating OP so I'm good

>the self awareness of the forced campaign smearing
Has v actually gone full circle?

>v

> being triggered about the / / when everyone already knows what we're fucking talking about

V
v
/v/
Vee
Vidya gaems
Worse than here

Hey don't talk bad about V.
He saved England from Tyranny.

>imagines V Alt for Taliesin

yeah but

still
Include the slashes

Ok ok,
So has /v/ finally become self aware.

>Thats honestly very childish
New here?

>Worse than here
Pfft. Now there is some grade A delusion.

>Why do we hate this again?

It was mostly a backlash to how hard it was being pushed. I felt it coming in the first threads when people were automatically making a new one like it was a general.

I tried to warn you niggers.

I've seen so many reports on the Bloodstained delay now, that it reminded me how many more people backed that game next to Indivisible.

I want both games to turn out great, but a part of me still hopes LZ can over-deliver on the final game. Really show how far they can push their smaller budget.

Didn't LZ continue work on Skullgirls despite bankruptcy? I wasn't into it during development.

They undercut themselves a good bit for the IGG. Not sure how much work the artists put in without getting paid some amount though.
Thankfully they're not stretching themselves thin this time.

I know for sure that Mike worked for free during several periods of SG development.
Like after the game launched and they were all laid off from Reverge, and then working on stuff to deal with the Konami crap, and then probably some of the porting work..
