It's not the "S" its special variants for now since they are "costomer reward". they'll have an (S) behind the name, just like hero mechs have an (H) and champoins (C). It'll be the SMN-F and SMN-M. Between both you get one energy hardpoint per side torso. No summoner in the game atm has energy in any side torsos.

Yes, but laservomit is podspace efficient and those hardpoints will be most likely resonably high, as the ballistic hardpints that we have not are. This will also buff the the ppc summoner. 6 energy hardpoints and two high mounts. You could 2x LPL + whatever ammount erML. Thats not a sensible thing right now, with energy hp only in the arms.

They updated it to UE 4.10 which has provided a notable improvement visually and have been working on performance optimizations with the networking and rendering. The HUD and UI in general has been overhauled and is in the process of getting the various elements customizable to player preferences for color and transparency. The AI has had some more work done where they are fairly agressive and a decent threat with regards to accuracy and weapon selection at various ranges. The initial setup for the economy system has been started where you can now earn credits for in-game performance relating to kills and objectives, and the Black Market appears to be the next module to be implemented before the Steam early access release.
Here's an example of a HUD customization with a Jaguar jumping down from a ridge and firing its Snub Cannon at a team of AI bots in Pioneer Outpost at night.

The premise behind that is Gear dueling is built into the lore of Terra Nova anyway so it's not really a stretch to approach the game from that aspect. As a general comparison it would be like if there ever was a dedicated MechWarrior Solaris VII video game made that focused on that part of BattleTech lore. There is going to be a campaign in episodic format for HGA but it'll be the last part developed.

about jagers, the only one suitable for that catapult build would be the one you have to pay for, and even if i was wiling to pay it has one problem, the catapult i can just strip the arms and make the build fit in the Firebrand i cant, so i have to downgrade engine and i dont feel like playing a heavy with anything less than a 300 engine, especially if xl

Jager is for 3x uac5. Every 15 damage is pinpoint, gun arms are super high mounted and it shits dps unlike dual ppc + ac5. Warhammer is good overall, can't go wrong. It can do ppc+ac, dual ac10s with ml, laservomit and so on.
This works fine, but you can do the same thing on a Catapult K2.
