Severa is literally the most generic, by-the-books tsundere I have ever seen. Like the first time I saw her I thought "okay, there has to be some kind of catch here, she has to be some kind of parody/deconstruction of the archetype to be written this blatantly".

But no. Her tsun garbage is played completely straight. Every single generic tsundere line, mannerism, gesture you can think of is literally all Severa does. It's to the point where I would be willing to believe a writer if I was told she's supposed to be a parody, but I highly doubt that was their intention.

And she's in a fucking medieval war setting as she does this. Fuck me. Even Tharja, who gets a lot of hate on both sides of the fandom (much of it justified mind you), I consider MUCH better than Severa.

I'm fine with people having fetishes as long as they don't try to rationalize their categorical attraction to them.

Really, I'm sick and tired of people trying to say characters like Charlotte and Takumi have a justification for being unlikable.

And what's worse, the writers for 14 weren't only lazy enough to just wholesale recycle her for the cast, but then they proceeded to add two more characters whose defining aspect was "is a Tsundere", and then started writing Tsundere scenes into half of every single support conversation in the game.

How? Sakura and Elise are pretty annoying, granted, but other than that, the Gen 2 units don't actually get focus, and Midori is actually kinda salvagable. Though I'll admit that still doesn't stop Kana, Kiragi, Selkie and Siegbert from being completely fucking infuriating to me.
