Because without it, a wheel is nothing more than a big thumbstick. With FFB, you can feel what the wheels and car are doing and react accordingly and realistically. It makes driving much, much easier because you'll naturally react to changes in dynamics.
The easiest example is when you start oversteering and need to countersteer to compensate and stop from spinning out. With a FFB wheel, you'll feel where the wheels want to go and it guides you into the correct countersteer angle. Without FFB, you're basically just guessing.

The mil power seems to really fuck over the engine as well as after using the 5 mins i think 100% cruising had lost its edge and i couldnt even get to 300IAS anymore (with about 1k rounds and about 200L of fuel)

Anyone own Piercing Fury, that new A-10 campaign? Looks pretty decent and I'm looking for a reason to get back into DCS (about finished with BoS, but DCS' sandbox mentality means it feels empty as fuck if you aren't playing with a group on comms)
Wondering if it supports coop (although I guess you could just edit the missions to have more playable slots), and if it's any good? None of the other DLC campaigns have interested me.

I did voice acting for OPF. I'd personally say it's some of Rangers best work, the campaign has a good mix of realism and fun, some missions are pretty tense and you can definitely feel the rush in some missions that are included. Would recommend.
