I don't understand what is going on with the game. According to ulmf the demo was updated with new sprites around a month ago, meaning hanataka at the very least hadn't abandoned the project at the time. I'm guessing he might've missed the deadline and is keeping silent to save face or because he thinks he can finish the game relatively quickly. Wouldn't hurt to keep people updated.
