Hold heat gun on sticker for about 10 minutes on high, don't move or wave the gun. If it looks like paint is dripping off it's just the sticker's residue you're good.

I am not good at applying die cuts. I should have bought two of these.

Why the tearing? Is that from the wiper?

Rear window, no wiper. It'd been on there about a year, I guess I didn't clean well enough before applying it as the edges were peeling up. Got the car dirty, was too lazy to wash since it's hot as heck so a touchless wash tore it apart. I'd been planning on replacing it anyway.

Any tips or tricks for applying die cuts? I fucked up last time I tried it and have been put off since then. Ordered a couple though to try again. I don't wanna fuck them up again.

They're pretty easy. First I take the front paper off (the one that is where the adhesive is/where you'll stick it to the car). Just go really slowly, and if any corners stick to the paper (and not the backing), bending it back and apply pressure. If it still sticks I just give it a little lift with my finger.

Once it's all on the backing paper only, I hold it in front of where I'm going to put it, level it out and get it right. I start at one side, and just slowly work my way across until the whole thing is applied. Don't just slap it on at once. I have a rubber squeegee thing that helps to get it on, you can use a credit card. Be careful using a credit card on a regular slap with no backing paper, it will scratch it.

Is there any specific way to apply the vinyls to my car's windows? All I get from videos is to wet both surfaces, stick the vinyl on, squeegee the water out, wait, then peel slowly

This user seems to know what's up. You can do wet or regular but either works. I've never tried wet application so I can't give any advice on that. For dry I'd just say make sure it's clean then lay one edge down first and slowly press down the rest moving away from the first edge.
That way you kind of make sure it's going down straight and flat.

I use R Conform I think it's called. It looks like paper and it's not as sticky as some of the clear stuff I have but it makes it less likely you'll ruin the sticker when applying

medium tack paper is what I use for basically everything. layering is easier with plastic transfer but paper just feels nicer to work with, it's hard to explain.

It's actually on kind of crooked and a couple of the letters on top are wrapped slightly over the top. Nothing wrong with your sticker, just my shaky hands combined with the angle of the bike when I applied it. I'm not worried about it, I already got on your site and ordered up a few spares.

paper is a lot more flexible and you can get it to grip edges more easily because of that.
with plastic you have to rely on the adhesive itself instead of the technique
