Trips gets to name her

Faggotmobile

They make a nice after market poly bushing for the trans mount, it makes it a LOT better, reduces front tire skip.

Its cheap too.

Careful with the paint, its shit. It scratches when you look at it wrong.

looks retarded and there are $600 motorcycles that are faster

...

I live in New York, can't ride for half the year and the other half you're worried about cabbies out to kill you. But I did consider it

careful what you wish for. It's happened before.

Faggot

Why the fuck did you buy this instead of a Fiesta st? You're an idiot.

You had ONE JOB!

And so, it's name is "you're an idiot".

Already noticed the paint part. I'll definitely look into that. Thanks!
Better amenities for a lower price. Also extended manufacturer warranty. Got my bang for the buck at the end of the day. I love the ST (fiesta and focus), but they just didn't have one that quite fell into my parameters at the moment. I plan to upgrade to a Focus RS.

>Also extended manufacturer warranty.

Most likely gonna be worthless OP, Kia/Hyundai have the worst reputation in the industry when it comes to trying to wiggle out of extended warranties

That said, I hope you like it. Those cars are definitely not my cup of tea (really nothing Kia/Hyundai makes is to be honest). The lower price just comes from the fact nothing the Koreans make hold value so depreciation kicks you in the dick during the entire duration of ownership

Are you buying a luxury car or a sports car? Kill yourself.

Interesting, wasn't looking to to really trade in actually. I bought it with the intention of driving it till the wheels fall off.
A little of both. I wanted a car with a nice interior with decent amenities, Bluetooth, heated seats and an aesthetically pleasing interior. Got it all and enough horses to make driving fun.

...

...

>Got it all
No you didn't. You got a shit car with a turbo thrown at it. The Veloster is based on the old Accent platform. The turbo engine doesn't come with a proper suspension upgrade to go with the power.
So congratulations. You bought a shit car on a shit platform with a shit door setup, a shit suspension, and will depreciate like Jimmy Hoffa wearing concrete shoes at the bottom of Lake Eerie.

Have fun with the car, don't let random you tubers drive though.
:^)

If you plan on keeping it "till the wheels fall off" lengths of time, then it's less of a thing. Hyundai/Kia owners always get a bit shocked over how awful these cars are at holding value, makes for heated exchanges when I have to talk to people about trade in values

>what do you mean I'm 7 grand upside down on the Accent I bought new last year!

Worst was probably a guy who was 20K upside down on a Equus

>Hyundai equus
What did you think he was going to be like?

Thanks man. Its been treating me well so no complaints. I don't take any of it to heart, I feel like a lot of commenters haven't even driven the cars they love to shit on.

Yeah, I hear you. If I wanted a car to maintain the trade in I would've gotten an STI. I was looking for low maintenance fun and a mechanic buddy of mine told me from experience that he sees Hyundai's come in for major mechanical work the least. Could also be the demographic of drivers with the Hyundai's but he's been around the block long enough for me to take his word.

I knew it would be bad, just didn't know how bad till we ran the numbers, since we've only ever sold like 1 of those things, and that one was one we picked up at auction, not via trade

note the gook shills are oddly gone when people speak of how bad their cars hold value

>tfw picked up a 4 year old kia forte for $8k
It's not awful

great if you are trying to buy one, awful if you are the person who actually owns it

Hey guys lets hop in the "Waste of money"
Lets take the "not an ST"

>st
>not a waste of money
What's the point? They're both slow econoboxes.

Pretty much. And besides I live in NYC, what am I gonna do with more than 200 HP? Lel

Move down south OP. after 4 years up north, I could never do it again

You fucked up too by buying one so new.

Sheeeeiiiiiitttt

>Lives in NYC
>Buys a car
Why? Public transportation in NYC is fucking great. Trying to drive in NYC is near impossible. I got stuck in the Washington Bridge for 2 hours once, not moving. I was just passing through on my way back to Connecticut. Fuck NYC. The whole fucking city is a glorified paring lot.

Yeah actually that's the plan. I've lived out on the west coast and a little while in the south. Circumstances brought me back to the city but I agree with you completely. Northeast is a pretty big shithole.

I live out in the outer boroughs so I have an opportunity to drive. I personally love driving, literally just moved out of Manhattan island to get a car again. Also militaryfag here, need a car for that shit too, did it without one for a year sucks a lot of dick to constantly plan for rides on and off base.

"Could've bought an St"

>Public transportation in NYC is fucking great

except for the part where it takes more than 40 minutes to get from any of the outer boroughs to manhattan, yeah

>paying good money for something so slow

Couldn't handle a miata

Considered it, not practical enough. Would do it as a weekend car.

NYC living. What would you do with a 'fast' car here? Shit roads, speed cams literally every other block now. Highways are the only place to go WOT, until you hit traffic a couple of blocks down. Don't need big power to for fun driving here. The fiesta st is a nice car, performs better too, but none for sale around me for the price i wanted, also shit interior in comparison. Also practicality is a pretty high priority at this juncture in my life.

not bad op, remember that the majority of users here don't own a car and I'm guessing a large part of that group isn't even old enough to drive.

that being said, name should be Lady Rainicorn. She is floppy too.

A motorcycle is faster then most cars.

>it's true because I say so

See

Thanks, yeah its always easier to tell someone they could've gotten something better when the money isn't comin out of their wallet.

Thought about naming her Sheniqua. Seeing as she is a big booty black bitch.

Riding a motorcycle in NYC is a death wish. And the weather is shit for riding.

>I'll just keep parroting the same shit
Faggot

I live in New Hampshire and the weather is great for biking at least half the year. I don't live in a city though, fuck that.
See

See . That's the OP. Your shitty wasted get doesn't count.

Everyone knows the cars don't hold value, IT will be a long while before they start to hold onto the value due to the reputation.

But the more then put out quality vehicles the better they hold onto value.

The Genesis bk2 and sedans seem to hold there value about equal to competitors.

In NYC its probably about a quarter of the year. Riding in the summer sucks dick, you'll swim in your own sweat just going down a mile. And if you're not dying from the weather, everything else is out to kill you. Potholes, debris on the road, old people, women, Asian drivers, taxi drivers etc.

See

>better amenities for a lower price
Lmao bro you're saving like no more then $3,000 just to have some bs interior comforts in compromise of a shittier everything else

What's your take on the Kia Soul? Will its value hold if it's treated like a metrosexual boyfriend?

Speaking as a fellow salesman, can we have a moment of silence for Jeep Renegade owners?

If quads you not only name your car but make the plates say:

VELOSTARD

can't be done. Plates must have a maximum of 7 characters, sometimes 6 depending on the state.

In comparison to...? If you're referring to the ST's none of them fell in the price range for what I wanted and they were all far as fuck from where I live. If you wanna use the 3 g benchmark, I saved hella more than 3 g's over an ST for a better looking and feeling interior. And now that the ford focus RS is out, not gonna settle for an st. Might as well drive a shittier car for a little bit and get the RS in a year or two.

Kia souls from what I've seen they don't drop as fast as other Kia's but they are also spit out like cockrockes.

Literally the Soul plant was at max run capacity for the amount of souls they were selling.

is still a hyundai

Would agree here. Run a 2001 Elantra and the biggest issues it's had are a radiator crack and thermostat freeze.

Otherwise it's handled the abuse of a new and hot-headed driver.

Should have waited for the 2018 version. 350HP turbo, RWD.

By 2018 its gonna be a whole new world of cars. I don't like to tunnel into something so far down the road.
