Not that I can remember, besides Shadow Mitsuo. They were all straightforward.
Shadow Kamoshida has you kill his chalice so he won't fully regen his health, then send a party member to do a sneak attack so you can take his crown, or something like that.
Shadow Madarame has you kill all his separate parts as a painting at the same time so he'll turn back into human form, and then you can beat his ass. Repeat until he's dead. If you don't kill the paintings at the same time, they all revive.

Also, the party member you send to do a sneak attack on Kamoshida won't be usable for a couple of turns, because they'll be sneaking around. He also has an instakill, but all you have to do is defend.

having gimmicks are good but I'd hate to have to figure out their gimmick as they slowly/quickly kill me. and it only is ever interesting in the first playthrough

I think the only bosses that don't have some sort of gimmick are Magician, S.Yosuke and S.Chie, and maybe S.Naoto but that fight was so lame, I can't remember shit about it and might be wrong.

Kamoshida was tedious as fuck due to the about of breaks in game where they have to explain to you THAT WON'T WORK SO LETS DO THIS INSTEAD. The other bosses flow a bit better but all those "gimmicks" just seem to break the flow and they're simple as fuck

Tofu is on rank 6 with Ryuji, it's basically about helping him to reintegrate the school's sports club

Also the Co-op are ranking very fast in this one, but the requirements are also higher (you need Charm to start Anne, Courage to start Tae, Diligence to start Iwai)
