The list of characters referenced in text strings is absurd. It's like every big name from every game Blizzard has ever made.

I think that when blizzard creates a character, they come up with a couple of interactions they could have and record some lines just in case, and then later on decide if they want to add that character.

Thoughts on Medivh? He seems fun and has a lot of utility but not any damage

He's a force multiplier who does nothing on his own but can turn a party member into a nigh-invincible death machine. I feel he's basically Lt. Morales without the healing and generally unworthy of usage.
Great for QM when you get all assassin/specialist games and you act as the "support" though.

Shits up QM and throws games way off balance more than they already likely are.

A good Medivh is one of the most annoying characters to face in the game. Constant harass, especially after he completes Masters Touch.

A bad Medivh and the game is 4v5.

I played against a Medivh as Chromie and couldn't feel more useless.

but it's all sustained damage and no burst

if you really dislike playing the game but for some reason your autism demands more e-gold:

play vs ai and set it to beginner bots. 90% of the players in there are just there to grind quests/xp and you can usually push to core in 5-7 minutes

Warcraft characters that could work as a skin for an other character:
- Khadgar skin for Medivh
- Aegwynn skin for Jaina
- Garrosh skin for Grom (when they decide to fucking release him)
- Maiev skin for Zeratul :^)
