Not sure if I should keep doing this or if there's something I'm missing that would make me do more damage.
Luke Price
Grab a sacrament buff, what do your skills look like, buy a soul crystal
Brayden King
>tosbase guide >for whole another class Nigga stop.
Adrian Walker
What is the best map in the game and why is it Stogas Plateau?
Oliver Carter
>STATS: 4:2:1 STR:DEX:CON Yeah, close that tab right now.
Luke Reyes
nothing wrong with ranger 2!
Brody Martinez
Here are my skills. Not sure what a soul crystal is, though.
Kayden Thomas
first: bows have a damage penalty before +5 IIRC second: get three +damage hats, they help a lot, ever tried a enchanting scroll? third: cafrisun is nice but what makes it strong is the damage hats/arde dagger, anyway, alwys get the sacrament buff from pardoners thats +40 holy damage that procs 3x on autos, one normal, another with cafrisun and another from sacrament. blessing is good too but it has a hit limited so...
you're almost 75, don't waste your money improving your bow now, wait to get a better weapon by 75 and then +5 it.
Caleb King
Okay I'll give it to you straight. It's terrible. You can either reroll now and get back to that point in a day or two, or keep going and try to save the build with expensive Stat/Skill reset pots.
Cooper Robinson
Don't worry, it's not terrible. It's fine. Have you bought the main attributes? If not, that might be your problem.
Samuel Evans
Thank you both. Gave me some hope that spending 3 days making this thing wasn't a waste.
I'm not sure what main attributes are, but I will look into it. Thank you
Eli Perez
>it's not terrible. I'm sorry, but have you ever played an Archer? If no, shut up. Dude is following a bad guide that wasn't updated for 4 months, and he's probably going to grab Fletcher2 if nobody tells him to stop.
Henry Murphy
>Bows have a damage penalty What?
Noah Reyes
I think it's pretty much a given that you're always going to fuck up your first character in this game,
Isaac Sullivan
He means Missiles have damage penalty so you need to upgrade your weapon to mitigate it.
Colton Williams
/Bullies/ when?
Brody Carter
Okay so what am I supposed to then?
As I said, I'm here looking for help. I really like this character, I just have no idea what to do with it and where to go.
Liam Martin
Either go r3 or reroll a2r1sc1xxx/quarrelmeme/wugu
The other user has no fucking idea. Im running a similar build and it's really easy mode. But you gotta invest in attributes. Your main strategy for PvE is walking up to enemies and just barraging them in the face.
Anyone know if arrow rain can be captured since it's apparently a ground AoE?
Kayden Turner
You should share your current level with the class, user. Rank2 Ranger really doesn't tell anything about where you reached.
Kayden Reed
Triggered.
Isaac Adams
Do not take scout3 at rank 7. you have absolutely no damage and you will suffer greatly while leveling. Even taking scout3 at rank 6 is suffering, can't imagine getting to 273 with it.
Anthony Smith
I'm doing it.
Nicholas Thomas
Class reset potions soon
Joshua Kelly
I know a bunch of R7/280 people whose main is the first character they made. Granted, a lot of those probably played during beta, as well, but planning and making sure you know what you want out of a character go a long way.
Landon Nguyen
218 atm. But Ranger2 really is easy mode, never had any trouble questing so far. Altho asking user might have other issues: He might just be underlevelled for Tenet Church. In that case: Do Orsha side quests, user!
Nolan Miller
I suggest reroll. I assume you have a token, so you can transfer your money and nice items through Team Storage. What build you'd go would be
However, you could also keep playing. But it won't be easy and later on you probably will wish you rerolled. First, tell us what you want to do? PvP? PvE?
First off you'd have to become focused in either STR or DEX. Going hybrid is terrible, as you'll miss out on more damage, and low evasion/crit will be negated by enemy accuracy/resist. You didn't dump many points in either yet so it's unsalvageable, but you might want to get a Stat Reset eventually. Next you'd have to pick a different build. Ranger3 is okay pick, but then you have two classes to choose before Cannon. And Fletcher2 is a terrible idea. As for gear, don't give a shit. Get some strong white rarity bow every time you change class, it'll serve you better than some blue shit with less damage and useless bonus that costs 5 times as much.
>Archer2 Ranger2 Are you even level 100 yet? Of fucking course you're having easy mode before then, you dumb fucking faggot. Highlanders one-shot everything for the first 200 levels, but nobody is making them anymore for """"some"""" reason. Stop giving advice when you're in need of it yourself.
Dylan Stewart
have you seen the build he said he's following though? going ranger2 is the least of his worries
Daniel Perry
Can't help if you don't say what you want to do with that character
Still in the steam's top 1000000000 most played This is a good population for an MMORPG if you only compare it to other failed abortion games, please ignore actual successful games when making comparisons This game is only rated poorly because of trolls and casuals
Gabriel Scott
rank8 will fix it actually I don't care because japan is the cash cow now and we'll get the updates eventually I don't need them right away I have enough alts to make
Logan Rivera
>What build you'd go would be dependant on what you wish to do in the end-game.
And what can you brag about buddy? Any PvP successes? Constant #1 in missions? Maybe at least soloing 130 quickly? Or does "easy mode" come down to killing Pumpleflaps in 5 seconds? Questing is hardly a problem for most classes, outside of pure support chars.
Christian Gonzalez
Consistently getting my WB/FB cubes, even the contested ones. Which is all I made the char for.
Landon Wright
>First off you'd have to become focused in either STR or DEX. Going hybrid is terrible, as you'll miss out on more damage
>but then you have two classes to choose before Cannon >When he never mentioned that class
>Get some strong white rarity bow every time you change class >every time
Bad post
Jace Martin
And you're a Fletcher obviously. Ranger2 has little to do with that success.
Play the game some more before giving advice.
John Gray
If he's A2 R2 he can go R3 SR and skip canoneer If he had gone A1 R3 he could have saved his build with rogue
Jacob Hughes
How do I make backstab do like a billion damage
Eli Parker
Says the guy who's telling someone who's rolling almost the same build so far to reroll.
Hudson Robinson
I fucking hate people who have this on.
Adrian Wood
So what will you fletchers take for r8? The mount one if you don't have sc1? Or reroll?
Xavier Thompson
>First off you'd have to become focused in either STR or DEX. Going hybrid is terrible, as you'll miss out on more damage
Mixing stats is retarded in any endgame build, because you'll be wasting Lifeline.
Blake Long
Ask the Korean rogue Hakka lad on yt
Robert Perry
I need help with cdtracker Is there any way to make the yellow text disappear after like 3 seconds?
William Perry
>rogue Hakka Can you backstab with swords..?
Luke Parker
I don't think everyone has a lunjer3 to call their own, user
Cameron Reyes
Yo!
Refugee from the beta days here, curious to see how much of this title's post-release reputation still holds true eight months after launch. I've read-through the OP Pastebins, and still have a couple questions; mind if I lay 'em on you bunch here? Figured that dropping an almost 1,900-character inquiry sheet right out of the gate isn't the greatest way to make an entrance. Might as well test the waters before tossing up a post that massive.
Haven't paid much attention to this title since the final hours of Ye Olde iCBT2, so I've undoubtedly got a ton to catch-up on. This thread's sagely guidance would be greatly appreciated, assuming the general collective here doesn't unanimously balk at walls of text!
Cameron Watson
>he fell for the hybrid meme Name one reason, other than 5% damage increase in laboratory conditions, to do this.
>>When he never mentioned that class >"My endgoal is Cannoner."
>not getting a brand new white bow for literal pennies when changing classes I do, get them to +5 too, and then pass on the ones I'm done with to lower level guildies.
You too. Just because he can save his build with high rank class no matter what, doesn't mean he has to pick trash classes early on.
the build is fine but archers are sp drinking machines either go high str with accuracy and crit gear or go high dex with critical attack gears and good attributes you can still save this character, do quests for free cheap sp potions untill r6

Alriiiiight, questions! Sorry again about the length.
1. Are the "beginner friendly" class-combos listed in the Frequently Asked Questioned Pastebin still relatively viable choices in the NA client's current patch, for someone without a cent of Silver to their name?
I started the workings of a Wizard/Elementalist/Warlock late last night to get my bearings on this grindfest again, but if they've fallen out-of-favor from The Meta™, then I'd love to hear of a few alternatives to pursue instead. Not much sense to be found in pouring hundreds of hours into a set of Circles that won't do me much good in the long run.
2. How are Cleric's tree and Linker doing these days? I've always been a fan of the "supportive" role, but I'm sure the preferred classes for a Cleric character (and everything else for that matter) have changed drastically from their iCBT2 counterparts. Does C3 Priest still (somehow) rule the roost, or is there a more recent build to favor for being a party's healer?
Additionally, is the C3 Linker dream dead, or are they a good pick for a "pure support" Wizard should that setup still be viable?
3. Is it still wise to "hold off" on using EXP Cards to push past poor grind spots?
Hell Tower was a common location to "skip" by way of stacking loads'e EXP Cards, back in ye olden days. Are there any "tiers" to horde EXP Cards on, or is the modern leveling curve less restrictive than it was in the past?
4. Might be getting ahead of myself here, but is funding an alt still just as much of a nightmare as it was on launch day? I wouldn't mind dropping a few sheckles to unlock some basic UI functionality by way of a Token or whatnot, should the need arise.
I have a few more "minor" ponderings floating around my head, but those are the main four inquiries for now. I'll probably ask about Guild/Clan details a bit later, once I know what class to focus on at first.
Jaxon Phillips
Go on, I've been here since icbt2 as well. Want a general overview or got some specific questions? Either way it'll be moderately depressing.
Jeremiah Peterson
Crit rate has a cap. Going too much over it will net you a dps loss
>"My endgoal is Cannoner." Hadn't seen that one, mea culpa
>not getting a brand new white bow for literal pennies when changing classes The problem is enhancing them. More often than not, getting to a new equipment tier is so fast and easy early game that I don't see why waste money on that, when you're not even getting a huge dps increase sometimes
Parker Thomas

Brandon Collins
Elememes are a hot topic of debate on whether they're still worth using or not
Clerics classes and Linker build are most likely futureproof
Cooper Phillips
Thanks guys. I plan on going Cannoner eventually. I wouldn't mind a SR inbetween.
I've only been playing for about 20+ hours, and most of that has been grinding. So I don't know shit.
I just wanna shoot people with guns.
John Jackson
why sr?
Carson Diaz
It's not like the crit cap is easy to hit.
Gotta admit, I had levels 120+ in mind, usually before that I just use whatever I loot myself, game is easy with Pardo buffs before then.
What do you want to do bucko. PvP? PvE? ERP?
Landon Cooper
>I wouldn't mind a SR inbetween. Yes you would, unless for some reason you hate yourself so much to follow the path oh a mounted infantry. You might, considering you're playing this game.
Zachary Cruz
If you wanted to shoot people with guns you should've rolled Cor3 '_>'
Christian Adams
I want to do PvE content. I have no desire to PvP. Maybe GvG EVENTUALLY somehow, but not for now.
So, since I went Arch-Rangerx2, instead of SR, what should I go for?
Jack Howard
What is the most futureproof build
Nolan Myers
Not sure what "cor" is, though. Quarrel shooter?
Justin Johnson
fwee1 for the aoe your cannon skills have a large aoe so you want to hit more enemies bird AI sucks tho you can also go rogue for more crit and hit chance, leaving the aoe part to a friendly linker
Matthew Evans
Corsair
Parker Thompson
Cleric 3
Joseph Rogers
I hate /that/ autist, you know which. Fuck off!
Jace Bennett
Yeah, this sounds good. Ranger3 Rogue Falcon.
Isaiah Gutierrez
>I just wanna shoot people with guns. Reiter, Musketeer and Cannoneer all do that, but don't put them on the same build.
You will want to have a rank on scout. Other than that, general nice one rank dips are rogue, falconer (mostly PvE I believe) also hunter2(PvP)
I think the memetic cannon build was sapper2wugu2archer2, but that's out of question now for you. You could try something like archer2-ranger2-scout-rogue/falc-musk/cannon. For reiter, archer2ranger3 is nice
Landon Green
What are the list of things to do if I want to get all the daily gem abrasives?
Liam Hall
Bah, clearly I should've held-off for a few more minutes before posting to toss a (You) your way as well. My Big List of Questions is just above your post, if you happened to have any advise to offer for a hapless returner ().
Bit surprised to see you still kickin' in this title! Nice to know that at least a few faces from the Old Guard haven't fled from this place yet.
As I've gathered, though outside of some likely-outdated guilds on ToSBase, I haven't much other direction in where to take this character. I'd LIKE to get my old Linker back online, but creating a "dedicated" support class fresh off the blocks doesn't sounds like the smartest of ideas.
Jose Lee
just friendly reminders feint+barrage does a lot of damages falconer is NOT a dps class unless you go full 3 circle in it (most people still dont get this part) 1 circle is a support for aoe attacks
Brayden Phillips
Need some advice here, on my way to fencer throught barb1,2 and 3. I just got to barb2 and only bothered to raise Cleave to 5, for barb2 where should I spend my point other than obviously bringing cleave to 10 ? I was thinking about Seism and Warcry.
Brody Moore
r2 dps is higher than r1+scout except if someone pass you to stack flareshots and the boss does not move
but of, I'm with you, scout/rogue utility is unparalleled
Chase Morgan
seism and warcry
Ryder James
If you're returning, I think it would be alright to keep leveling your character since the build is still pretty strong. Moreover, there have been whispers of IMC giving a class reset option, but right now there is only speculation. I'm also making the same build now, but if it's underwhelming and not fun in R8, I'll have to bank on how much said class resets would help me change things around. Otherwise I'll have to immediately start working on a new character.
Gavin Wright
Do you know how the Feint+Barrage combo works? Does it add base damage? Does it add flat damage? Does it add % damage?
Blake Diaz
Let me clarify:you will want to have scout if you ever intend on doing any kind of pvp with your cannon
As for your skills, drop Oblique, its bad at higher levels and its only real use would aggro two monsters instead of one. Full draw is much, much better, as a great cc even on pve.
Luis Taylor
>1 I'll let someone else answer that >2 Cleric tree seems to have the most love right now. Doom posters say linker is ded now that magic missile combo is gone but as far as supporting, everyone is still happy to see a linker in party. Linker C3 dream more real than ever now that r8 lets you fit chrono3 and linker3. Priest3 always a welcome addition but as long as you're cleric2 and priest/Krivis/diev3 you're bringing some kind of buff that people like. >3 Everyone defines the "saving cards" meme differently, but the only real struggle for exp is the 175-185 range which is easily overcome so long as you just use cards to keep up with maps rather than blowing them all, and making use of dungeons/missions every day to pad your exp until you hit the reset >4 How much do you hate questing? I don't mind it so I've got 4 characters at r7. Your biggest challenge will be getting through quest choke points infested with bots and actually finding people to do dungeons with. Sometimes you can queue for as long as 20 minutes, but the new exp tomes at least don't tick down while sitting in the queue (since you mentioned shekels)
William Mitchell
>As for your skills, drop Oblique, its bad at higher levels and its only real use would aggro two monsters instead of one. Full draw is much, much better, as a great cc even on pve. Well, this isn't accurate. With a pyrolinker, Oblique or (preferrably) Split Arrow can rape bosses.
Josiah Brown
>Falc3 will be a DPS class Top kek, if anything that's the circle that gives them the most party oriented tools.
