Thanks friends!
>pic is from our review of the HD 1200 roadster, have a nice pic of my hometown for your time.

thumpers

Thoughts on the F650GS? Found this one at a local dealership

solid shitbike

>Auckland BIG BOYS TOYS

I bet you bike is a lot of fun!

it is

...

You're a big boy toy...

good for you

>dbt single bingo.jpg

so if I'm in a relationship I can't do it?

would any of you ever start off with a Ducati?

depends on the ducati

Good commuter bike for shitty roads, not so ugly is scares women away.
Bad, engine is a Rotax, and rebuild parts might be a bitch to find, or expensive.

Dutchfag. Fucked front brakes and carbs. What are the odds I can find a garage that will clean my carbs tomorrow, so I can leave on Tuesday or Wednesday and make it to SEM on Friday?

nop

I sem to be losing it, guys. Today's trip felt more like a chore than something to look forward to. More than once I thought that I'd rather be playing Payday or Dark Souls than riding in this 50 bike group.
Will the SV fix my woes when it finally arrives?

>5 weeks
Fuck off I'm waiting since the end of may

And that's an absolutely ebin meme right there: the R1200GS i was riding with broke it's driveshaft
Fucking lel.

a ducati scrambler for example

you're riding in a group of 50 bikes for several days?

GOT EM

Only if he browses /dbt/ too, faggot

this guy again
The throttle on a bike won't close by itself, and the Clutch lever wobbles up and down, should I be worried or are those fairly easy to fix?
is it more for offroad or would it be okay on road as well?

>rotax engines are bad

lmao is that the new meme made up by japcrap shitbikers?

>sv650
Which one?

...

:(

What? No.

Insurance guy is coming tomorrow to look at the bike, I should have just had it towed to a mechanic instead of home.

>tfw when no money for original parts

well, damaged but not broken.

wat happen?

It is more of a road bike then a dirt bike. Fire roads and hard packed trails are where it does well. They are a bit heavy to take in the woods and soft single track stuff.
I stated that getting engine parts might be expensive and difficult. Rotax makes some good stuff.

Parked on the highway

see
fucking retarded target fixation. plenty of room to look and lean, only went in at 50-60 MPH

here's the damage

nah man it was a sudden gust of wind

>bent handlebar

wow, mine didnt do that

should i be s-scared?

yeah, it landed on the top pretty hard

Would you buy a 90s suzuki gn125? I'm short on cash so I can only afford a cheap bike and a bike license for a larger bike here is something like 200-300 euros. The bike is immaculate and costs only 850€

slightly related, ROK Straps are awesome. they kept my tent and sleeping bag from flying off!

did you still ride it

unless the bike is your last resort, save up for something bigger

If I were to buy a first bike that I also wanted to make a cafe racer, would I be better off getting something old and mostly bolting things on/off, or something new that would perform better?
I'm thinking something that's 500cc but there aren't a lot of newer models like that that I know of -- Harley and Royal-Enfield.

Originally, I was interested in the Suzuki tu250x but I'm not sure if it's speed would be a problem.

>kmh
>mp/h
Triggered

No, I wouldn't.

no, the assembly holding the clutch lever broke off, and I'm not sure if I would have been able to bend the bar back myself out there.

(tank bag came off, i just set it there to get it off the ground)

He didn't say they were the same. Just that Americans have to go faster than Europeans to reach the same level of cool.

you can find newer bikes with salvage titles that need fixed up for that. don't ruin a perfectly good bike.

Suzuki DRZ

If my manual calls for 10W-30, will my bike self destruct if I use 10W-40?

yes

Buying a new bike just to fuck with is a huge waste of money. Buy something used.

Also learning to ride first is a good idea.

No, he just managed to mangle BOTH notations, even while getting them right elsewhere.

mph is Miles Per Hour
km/h is kilometres per hour.

mp/h would be miles per per hour
kmh would be kilometre hours.

maybe

>odometer/speedo indicates...
Good thing it doesn't specify that it has to be accurate. I can recalibrate and reset mine.

I'm more concerned about ruining -- irreversably -- bikes that aren't in production anymore. Ruining a new bike is unwise, but it's still replacable (not that I want to do such a thing).

...

If you were any way expert you'd know to steer clear of cafefags
>You know a whopping 2 brands of bikes....
Get a standard, get gud with it and realize how b& you sound

Photographing my food like a real hipster

Save your money, be disciplined, get a bike that will inspire confidence when you ride.

slav/10

Yeah (I've ridden a moped before, not that that's anything special). I was thinking about getting a license through a Harley course, and figured being informed about new bikes might be useful before getting swindled (I don't think they would do that, but that's probably what would happen).

muh sodium

Reposting because the Euros were asleep last night when I came back.
> went with sis to buy her a helmet
> weighs like 45-50 kg, almost no difference when braking / accelerating
> behaves exactly right as a pillion (bracing herself when braking / accelerating, leaning with me in corners etc)
> passed 48k km on the odo, meaning I've ridden 10k on this particular bike since buying it
> sister already 80% convinced to get unrestricted motorcycle license next year
> probably gonna sell her the CB when I get a CBF600
Good stuff.

What the kurwa do you cyka blyaty eat when you don't have money?
Why does everyone always know I'm a slav

>cbf600
Why
Why not a naked

bike is at fault for driving recklessly, creating a dangerous situation for the other drivers.

Because I commute a lot and use the Autobahn for quite a bit of it, and having the wind tug at you for like 4 hours at 180+ is annoying. Also I like the looks of it.

so did you fuck her or not? also post pics

Ninja 250 + Bolt on Cafe Kit.

Gross, it's my sister.
> tfw nobody to fug

REASONABLE ROTKEHLCHEN BIKE
tfw you'll never ride with drop anons sister
tfw drop anen sister will never ride you
>von 500 auf 650
mfw

>not fucking your sister

haram

> CBF600
> 650
Hä?

Nice bait faggot, I clearly know not two, but THREE whole brands. You can practice counting by using wrenches.

At absolute best it's partial mutual fault but there's no situation where swerving into another driver is allowed, ever.

I could be willying down the highway 40mph over and it's still illegal to merge into me.

noch schlimmer
>100cc upgrade
why tho
>mfw

She's coming to Sem next year.

CB 500 (restricted): 35 kW, max 180 km/h
CB 500 (unrestricted): 43 kW, 47 Nm, carbed, i2
CBF 600: 57 kW, 59 Nm, max 210 km/h, FI, bikini fairing, i4, CUTE

Who knows, she just might.

klingt für mich pretty sinnlos 2bh

Mag sein, für mich aber nicht.
