Detonations are so rare as to be of questionable value to the the game experience. I don't know why they bothered to include such a fun and engaging thing.

It's a legacy of ammo rack detonations from World of Tanks.

Just dive in. Bots don't behave like real people, you won't learn much. In some ways, they're actually better. And besides, even if you perform poorly, you'll still earn more money and exp than you would have in a good bot game.

Strike loadout plays a lot like IJN. AS loadout has a monstrous DB squad which is the bane of DDs.

Saipan is amazing because you get 2 torp squads at tier 7. They're fast, with big HP and big torp damage because tier 9 planes. The only thing that can do anything to 15 point Saipan is AS Ranger. And you'll still beat him because you'll do damage while he wont.
