He doesn't. He was learning the game for a year. Then turned attempts into a job with offline practice. Nobody else did as much back to back grindmonkeying in the sm64 community than cheese. The only other guy is a complete sellout.

He went from 1:45 to 1:42 in about 3 weeks after returning from like a year and a half of not playing. Nobody who has ever played SM64 has ever made an improvement that significant that quickly.

If Toast took 120 star seriously he would have a mid 1:39 by now.
