This. Everyone responds with "Her ult charges fast" as if that means anything. Who cares if I get my ult quickly when I can't kill someone with it. You pretty much can't kill anyone if you don't stick it (since first of all the range is bullshittingly low at 3m, and to make matter so worse, it still has damage done drop off even when having an already abysmal range) and if you do stick them, you normally kill one person at best without a Zarya ult. And the way Pulse Bomb is deployed makes it hard to accurately stick onto a target, making it the easiest ult in the game (other than maybe Deadeye) to completely waste.

The lack of verticality is definitely a drawback on Tracer when you compare the two, but I think her other stuff can make up for it

Blink with RMB, ult with shift, so your fingers are always covering all controls. It might not help much but who knows, that 0.1 sec of strafing left might make the difference a few times

There's literally no other way to git gud with le sticky bombs unless you waste some of them.
But a sure way to really kill people with it is to stick it on tanks and an enemy being supported by Mercy. Common tendencies of players who got stuck with bombs is to back off so you'll probably kill someone, and if not they'd get btfo of the radius damage and you can finish them off.

Sounds like you're the "My team picked 3 dps and told me to fuck myself, time to heal/tank" guy. Means you're probably more team dependent than normal if you solo queue. Advise getting competent DPS to queue with to keep the mouth breathers to a minimum
