Auto repossession

if the car loan bubble is about to burst, repossession numbers are going to shoot through the roof.

Is now a good time to get into the repo business?

Yes. Get a good sidearm btw. I recommend a Glock 19 but find something that suits you best.

S&W 500 is the only answer

Only if you want to be one of the most hated people in your town. Tow truck drivers are some really nasty people.

Kek. Are you doing repo work in a community of giganiggas?

I can confirm. I work at an insurance auto auction and the tow drivers are like fucking orcs.

This.

Fuck towing companies.

every tow guy i've met has been really nice

I saw one the other day that looked just like Jabba the Hutt. The cab of his truck was like a hoarders episode, kek.

It would be about the same as getting into the payday loan industry.

You will deal with terrible people, people are going to hate you, and the actual money you make isn't ever going to be as much as you thought it would be going in

Good luck taking tyrones cts without having a shootout, any way what is the average pay per tow anyway

go watch some Reponut videos before you decide to get in the game.

How come you don't do stories anymore?

Working less since I graduated, hence not as many stories. I've dropped a few in various threads the last few weeks though, just haven't gotten around to making an actual dedicated thread in a while

Once the bubble goes, how screwed would someone be if they fianced through a credit union?

This is assuming they haven't bought a car outside of their range.

Credit Unions should/are a great option, as they generally have certain thresholds for membership, and operate on a fixed rate regardless of the car.

>if the car loan bubble is about to burst

It's not going to burst anytime soon unless Hillary fucks up taxes.

Five year loans became six year loans which became seven year loans.

Vehicles are going to become like boats financed for ten years.

The average age of a vehicle on the road is almost twelve years, so it would make sense.

Good to know. I'll still have my car when the shit hits the fan.

>every tow guy i've met has been really nice
"Nice" is not the word. "Polite to a non-repo customer" is more accuate.

not the original guy you were talking to, but I've had good experiences with tow guys that aren't close to police. The one that are affiliated with the popo tho, fuck those guys. I had a fender bender one day and they charged me 200 dollars to tow my car 3 blocks away. They then told me that "I could drive the car with a broken bumper and dented hood if the police don't catch you." in which the moment I left ,those faggots called the police instantly.

>The average age of a vehicle on the road is almost twelve years, so it would make sense.
A twelve year old vehicle could be on its second or third owner. People who buy brand new cars don't keep them for twelve years.
