I consider the element a downside for an AoE, personally. Something like Bladeblitz is good for clearing trash because nothing resists it. Fire Blossom can run into a wall. There are also multi-enemy fights that have the "enemies have different resistances" gimmick, so Fire Blossom could be an issue there too.
