It's a Premium with 3.73 gear option and 6 spd manual. No track pack unfortunately. Honestly I'm not sure which one it has, all I can see when the car is on the ground is 'flowmaster' across the bottom.

nice, same options as mine minus the california special. If you plan on tracking it, make sure to get some brembos on the front which means those wheels wont clear either. I torched my 2 pistons in 3 laps at portland international raceway, bitches were smoking. must have mods for the mt82 are an MGW shifter, they are expensive but dank af.

The California Special package is nice, I wanted to buy a white one that had it but the guy was asking several thousand more and wouldn't budge. Yeah I'm not sure why it has these wheels either, they're from a v6 performance package typically. I'd like to get some staggered 20" AMR dark stainless wheels for it. Not sure if I will ever be able to afford Brembo's, though it would be Badass!

you could probably find some take offs off of a 15+, thats what I did, picked up my silver wheels for $350 and then spent some serious dosh on the rubber. I hated my stockers which is what you have except in black. Also you can get a used set of brembo brakes for like 500ish depending on your ability to wheel and deal, so they really arent that far out of reach.

Upon further inspection the American Thunder is, in fact, a 40 series for the Mustang

That looks really good, particularly with the strip that matches the wheel color. That also reminds me I need to order oem chrome 5.0 badges for the fenders. The first owner put cheap matte black ones on and the red dots are faded to pink already. I had absolutely no idea brembo's could be had for that kind of money, even twice that wouldn't be the worst thing ever. Never thought about looking for used ones though, which I'd be totally fine with. Did your stock mt82 have a horrible rattle in the shifter? Mine makes this dreadful rapid clicking/rattling in the low gears, but it goes silent if I put pressure on the shift knob. I figured it's just because of the crappy remotely mounted shifter they used, but I've also read that the mt82 is kind of junk and if you've got the cash it's best to swap a tremec in

Most of the noise I hear in my car is the driveshaft clunk and the notorious coyote tick, Ive had the tick for 35k miles, 200+ passes at the strip and lots of hard driving. My trans has been very clunky and I have been locked out of gears before I did the MGW which fixed most of my issues. That being said, I do have an exedy mach 500 and stainless clutch line, I was trying to fix the tick and though it might be clutch related, all engine related though. If you have the money you can swap in a t56 but I dont think its worth the trouble unless your mt82 shits the bed.

I didn't know I needed an MGW shifter until I looked it up. That's a sexy little piece of engineering. I thought it was the transmission itself causing most of the issues but if it's just the shifter I'd be damn tempted to spend that kind of money. I've noticed on mine if I get too close to the rev limit in 1st and sometimes 2nd it'll lock me out of the next gear and I'll grind it like hell trying to force it in

Lifeless as fuck. 15-20 years from now original owners will want to sell for a premium thinking it's worth more money because the color is rare but what they don't understand is that it's rare cause everybody else thinks it looks like shit and wants a red or black Mustang

the stock wheels were boomer chrome that were pitted from the guy I bought them off of. They look like shit. and it's just a bumper cover.. maybe you should get a car so you can experience having nice things and making them how you want. The criticisms are always appreciated.

See I love this color but I imagine it won't age very well. I remember loving colors like the Genesis' green, Corvette dark red, and a few others that just ended up looking bad to me.

Don't know what it is, maybe I fell for jew marketing, but certain colors don't last for me. Like that really light blue Aston Martin V12 looks amazing to me now, but I can see it getting old soon.

Cowl induction most certainly makes a difference in performance.
Even if he doesn't have an induction system under there, the cowl is still more aerodynamically sound than oem.
