I'm 99% sure that new demons created from fusion are automatically registered to your Compendium, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Can't you get a higher chance for Famed, at least in SMTIV, by having a black streetpass card along with certain quote? Or was it certain types of demons that gave it a better chance? There's definitely a way to manipulate it
