>Max number of souls you can have is 999,999,999
>Can't go over 1 billion

FC where? When can we do another costume party where everyone dresses up as NPCs and shit?

Water reserve

>Dark Souls 3
>shortest game
>bonfires out the ass
>filled to the brim with shitty references
>massive amounts of on-disc cut content that will be sold as DLC
>no dynamic lighting system when even basic indie games have them
>rehashed areas
>rehashed NPCs
>rehashed animations
>invasions sucks
>Heavy armor sucks
>armor sets don't even fit properly
>brown and grey
>shit AI
>Armor variety is less than DS2 BASE game, despite copypasting a 3rd of the armors from previous games
>Magic needs 2-3 ring slots just to dish out melee level damage
>Magic itself does reduced damage for PvP
>awful scaling balance
>FP is the most awful casting management system introduced yet (worse than DeS mana, which had better regen options and more efficient)
>FP horribly ineffiecent with damage, ends up causing everyone to use 1 or 2 FP efficient spell like Great Heavy Soul Arrow
>Miracles awful, best and most viable one locked behind the final boss
>bland NG+
>awful covenants
>no blue eye orb
>blue sentinels and darkmoons the exact same
>left hand weapons no longer have full movesets
>dual wield weapons are gimmicks
>Straight Swords and Curved Sword are as fast as daggers
>Great Weapons are slower than previous games, and costs more stamina, while barely doing more damage
>1-2 Weapons ALWAYS the best in class, no redeeming qualitys for special weapons resulting in less weapon variety than BB
>very little moveset variation
>WA are mostly shit or copypasted powerstance moves
>no tech
>No animation canceling
>No backstep i-frames
>rolls have too much i-frames and cost too little stamina
>bloodborne enemies catered to R1 spam from ss and cs
>hexes gone and dark magic is shit
>shittiest dragon form
>no dragon covenant
>refined/hollow completely dominates
>pyromancy is the quality of casters
>19 bosses, a good chunk being gimmicks
>linear level design, less branching options than DeS, DS2, and even BB

>b-but the DLC will save it!
>b-but other games have faults!
lmfao

>wolnir sumons skeletons
>they're invincible

Nice game.

Can I get anymore cancerous?

Water Reserve on PC, put signs by McDonnell. Pass dsg. Excessive passive play discouraged.

Running into attacks is discouraged too.

On my way

Post some dark souls wembs

Could someone give me a good DeS quality build?

alright so does anyone fancy helping me with DLC smelter demon?

Soul memory is 2044075

would really appreciate it

Seriously, what is this bug? That never happened before. He summons skeletons and never shows his bracelet again.

Groove Crusader, signs by McDonnell not the bonfire.

What game/platform?

So what do you guys think about the theory that yohrshka is Priscilla as stated by fungo?
.

...

sorry, DSII, PC

40/40 str and dex
Rest into whatever.

It's really contrived, but that would explain why Anor Londo is under the snow. It seems like the cursed painting broke or something.

Softs?

Das3 is the best Dark Souls since it was the first i could beat.with summons

>BB
>Base

Is he stupid? BB + DLC is the best content, but you cannot underestimate how important the DLC is to its quality

yeah

I'll see if I have anyone in the range.

He's comparing base content because DS3 doesn't have DLC yet. How is that stupid?

You're back? I can still help you.

Nigga the guy you're replying to is saying that without DLC BB is shit.

cheers mate

oh really? nice one, let me just see if this other lad's about so I can summon both of you - what route? I feel like the gated one is too hard to pull off, but the other route has all these archers

I'd say that base BB was worse than DS1.
ToH is what made BB godly.
But yeah, in terms of base games DS3 is by far the best experience.

Because BB's base game ain't batter than DaS or DeS, it's good but not that good.

>Fight club
>Had my farming rings on
Fuck me

Oh my bad.

So, who's that guy and why was he shilling here anyway?

The combat, atmosphere, and setting in the base game in BB is still great though. Sure it's short but that doesn't make it one of the best Souls game.

People overlook a problem in invasions that should be removed.

Hosts always gets +2 estus per invader down.

If a shitty invader dies, host and his m8s ends up with more overall estus then +1 you get yourself.

Sign down.

Aleksander here, looks like my internet has decided to shit the bed. I'll call it there, then.
Thanks for the fights, guys.

>prisoner's chain at high sl
chloranthy or havel's but never chain.
it's only good for twinking and the damage recieved is much greater than the vig gained at higher levels.

>shit AI
I shouldn't even respond to meme posts like this, but :
Dark Souls 3 has the best A.I out of the entire series.

>Hosts always gets +2 estus per invader down
is this true?
FC host, can you confirm?

It is good, bu I personally wouldn't tie it as the best base souls with 3

It was looking bad at the end but thanks for fighting anyway, good show you had.

Also the Water Reserve FC will close shortly, after a couple more fights I will end it with an FFA signaled by the Storm Ruler WA.

give me 2 mins

Hosts don't get estus from summoned reds

No it literally doesn't. Normal enemies still get stuck, they have extremely short aggro ranges, they can be indefinitely cheesed just as easily as DeS enemies, and the invader/NPCs are WORSE than DS2 ones.

okay I'm here
you the guy from earlier? I have the disease ring on

you're in the wrong area, I'm by the graves right next to the bonfire as you drop down

not sure where you are but the walls are different

I'm

I put the the disease ring on too, SM 2.4M.

To quality players, how much does your TPGS hit for? I'm using it on my pyro and have less AR than you do, but I noticed most of my AR comes from int/fth buffing the fire instead of physical damage.
Currently 553 AR, 321 phy, 232 fire

GOD TIER

I don't have the DLC open on this character so this is the area that people used in the vanilla DaS2 to access the DLC if they did not own it. The sign should appear on the graves.

Alright FFA time now Water Reserve people then we're off.

what bonfire are you nearest to?

I put my sign down again, I might have had it for the Alonne area earlier. So check if you can see it now.

I'm by the Iron Hallway Entrance bonfire just so you know

Replace Serpent with Fire Surge, Black Serpent is annoying as fuck, but not that useful. Replace chain with something else, use other rings like Knights or Hunter to get extra five levels. I recommend adding Bountiful (Sun)light to your build, it is a very good buff for a turtle build. Replace red Hilted halberd with something else, it's main benefit of benefiting greatly from Leo Ring doesn't apply to the same degree when elementally infused, because counter damage only applies to your physical damage, you cannot do the same retarded trades you can do with a refined red Hilted halberd. Bloodring would achieve ultimate cancer status, use bloodring, if you want to be cancerous. Combine with lagswitching for extra levels of cancer.

>that moment of confusion when we attacked wallman from behind
lol

yeah lol, i wasn't actually keeping up with the thread so i didn't realize it was a FFA

Water Reserve FC is done, good fights from everyone involved and congrats to Majongles for winning the FFA at the end.

>invader/NPCs are WORSE than DS2 ones
Oh no. The npc AI in DS2 was completely broken. They were extremely, horrifyingly dumb up to a point Lucatiel just dropped into the water on majority of my playthroughs. Invader npcs blatantly cheated with nearly infinite poise, impossible attack cancels and read your inputs. DS3 Creighton and Hodrick alone are better than all NPCs in base DS2 combined and also much more fair.

fucks sake lad I'm so sorry, can we try again?

Anybody on PS4 got a spare Symbol of Avarice?

puddaw

Yeah, my sign is still down .

I'm moving out for uni in 2 weeks, can't bring my PC there. I bought a laptop today.
I know very little about PCs (I'm a somewhat recently converted consolefag) and therefore I used some website that checks my specs to see whether I'll be able to run DaS3. It said that everything besides my video card is good.
The one I have is called "GeForce GTX 950M", and the minimal required ones are "GeForce GTX 750 Ti" and "ATI Radeon HD 7950". Could I be able to run the game at absolute jackshit settings regardless? I don't care about graphics, and I'll even accept low framerate.
Please help me.
Please tell me it's not over.
Please, I'm fucking going hollow.

thank you for the wonderful gifts

me right now

>read Water Reserve DLC
>imagine an amazing water based DLC, with sewers, underwater, innsmouth like enemies
>It'll never happen
>We'll never have an underwater FC

I stopped playing about a week after the game came out, and want to effortlessly win in PvP, what are the best weapons now?
I remember Dark Sword and Gothric completely dominating the meta.

Play in KF4, it has some pretty cool water locations.

Best weapons are Gotthard's, the Estoc (mainly while turtling), and Carthus Curved Sword. Two-handed glaives are also high class. Dark Sword was nerfed very slightly but is still very good as are most straight swords.

Knowing that enemy and how it normally attacks, the guy in the webm probably spawned or teleported that thing to that area before he entered its 'aggro' area.
Just here me out: Unlike other entities that you fight in the game, that thing is a unique fight. The monkey that worked on that particular dude probably had a zone set in the game area with a simple YES/NO check when it needed to decide to attack or not based on the player's relative location according to the map itself, and not the entity, like most enemies in the game.
Having the thing teleported to an area OUTSIDE of that Y/N check would always return a NO value, and you get what is shown in webm.
And before you say anything else, that fucker is DEFINATELY outside of it's normal engagement zone, and was designed to be fought in the room of slime before the boss.

Nigger I could run the game at 60fps with decent settings with a fucking 770M. You'll be more than fine.

...

>DLC
>extra cave with lot of NPCs wearing havel's set
>a dead dragon with teeth on the perfect size for a Dragon Tooth, and most of them missing
>you enter a temple
>boss lifebar appears
>Havel, the First Bishop

>spawned or teleported
I literally just let it follow me down the stairs. Once it walks too far it turns retarded.
>he pointed out something broken in my favorite game MUST BE AN HACKZ0R
Top kek.

You'll probably get sub 30 fps in some areas even with dogshit settings on and your laptop will melt, but yeah, you can run it.

> I stopped playing about a week after the game came out, and want to effortlessly win in PvP, what are the best weapons now?
The so called "Glaives"(most of them are completely different polearms, there is only one glaive in the game, three bardiches, one lucernehammer, one shitty flamey WTF nonsense and two halberds and one axe). Fishing for trades using them is very effective, they are the easiest meta weapon class to use, CCS, estoc and gotthards require spacing and shit, polearms do not due to their range, hyperarmor and spin sweep combos.

That'd be beautiful but human sized bosses would be way too easy
Just look at the watchers
They're not even human sized and you can keep them on the floor the entire fight

Anything that particularly shines at low level? Also are those glaives good for multiple opponents? Unless it was patched, I remember it beign impossible to fight less than 3 people at once in low-level areas.

What if he's big and fast and relentless and has infinite poise

You were the guy in the webm? Then could you post some of the bit right before the webm started and let me see the aggro and then nothing thing happen?
Not being a dick right now, I legitimately enjoy observing game mechanics in games and pulling them apart on a designing level.

>he's a huge bald priest with rock-solid skin who needs no fucking armor to shield him
>swings dragon tooth like a straight sword
>uses combat miracles with a talisman that looks like a book
>grows angel wings in second phase and transforms his dragon tooth into some sort of a divine weapon littered with runes

I'm just a hopeless romantic.

THANK YOU to whoever just helped me kill the smelter demon

absolute hero x

Someone give me a fun tanky DaS build.

It's my first time.

>The Rock
>He's about the size of Yhorm
>When the last knight grabs the last dragon tooth off the skeleton, The Rock pick up the fucking skull and starts swinging it around

Big as a berenike Knight maybe?
Infinite poise and aggressive? Can also use great magic barrier?
Then we'd be talking about a Havel boss m8

Guys, I still haven't beaten Dark Souls III.

I'm at Champion Gundyr and I've gotten really close to beating him but just can't be fucked. Tell me, how close am I do the end of the game?

I want to beat it and buy the DLC but I really really can't be fucked if there's a lot of the game left.

>bloodshade kill count: 7
>3 when I was another invading red

How have you been contrubuting for the souls community lately?

just go giant dad

...so which one is it?

>the armor wasn't made for him
>it was made based on him
>the chains on his wrists are attached to the dragon tooth
>he swings the tooth around while doing punches and chops

You're pretty close to the end, so don't worry.

>swinging around the skull
Why aren't we the devs
DRAGON BONE FIST

You're in a club and this guy slaps your fire keeper's ass - what do you do?

nigga ds3 havels are rape machines compared to watchers
imagine a bunch of them ending with Havel himself
