That was easy

Alright, so update on that performance issue I was having.

Before I got the issue, I installed four quest mods: Grey Cowl (with the flora overhaul), Vigilant, and Beyond Reach, and Clockwork. Then, I generated LOD and textures (at 1k). Then I started getting the crashes.

Regenned textures at 256, still got crashes in exterior cells, even just cities.

Uninstalled those four, generated LODs and textures (at 256), and now I'm running fine. Nice FPS, completely stable outdoors.

Any idea why that would be happening? Is it an issue with one of the mods that doesn't play nice with DynDOLOD? Should I just not generate LODs for one of those worldspaces, or is the problem something deeper?

I just don't bother with modifying LOD at all desu, saves me a lot of trouble and probably some much needed frames.

Jeez man. I think the longest time I had a computer was about 3 years. It was when I still had my laptop and the damn thing decided to go kaput while I was at college.

In all honesty though, I just wanna beef up my computer so I can finally handle Skyrim at high resolution with better LODs. That and Nier Automata is coming out and I need to prepare for it.

For me my weather is kinda ridiculous. In summer, the temperature would go up to 100°F (32.2°C) to like 0°C and below in the winter. I live on the east coast so there's that.

I just cleaned my PC (not a thorough clean but just a simple dust-out, dusting off the interior, heat sink, fans, etc) and so far I noticed my temperatures are lower.

So for some reason Equipping Overhaul shield on back feature doesn't work, no matter which shield I try, vanilla or otherwise, no matter which armor I equip it on, though it does work with all my weapons.

Are there any other mods that add the shield on back feature that I could try?

SKGE manages fov. You have to change it in its menu. Read the manual.

Bethesda's official HD texture pack is garbage compared to any texture mod.

That is something i know user, but i read that they were badly optimized so it's better not having anything and cover the spots with texture mods, if you can't cover everything with texture mods is still better than having the HiRez text pack

I'm finally glad I can do something else. Like sleep, or college work.

I happen to be a big fan of the mod and I did test it out a little. Basically the author made a framework and a simple example faction and left the rest up to anyone who wanted to make something with it. Kinda like FNIS. Problem is no one has actually used it.
