>no giant plastic covers >almost everything easily accessible on top >common maintenance items color coded yellow >engine easy to lift out
Yeah, it sucks if you need to change headgaskets but other than that, it's perfect
Jason Hall
Nope, at least you tried.
Matthew Anderson
>oil filter located on the bottom of the engine
you're not even trying
Owen Ramirez
>induction cover NO THATS SHIT FUCK OFF REEE

Thomas Barnes
>fake engine noise
I hate this shit
Grayson Mitchell
The FRS is easily one of the worst cars created in the last 10 years. Overpriced shit.
James Reyes
Prove it by posting better engine bays you shitposting cunts. I never said it was fast.
Anthony Ross
>not owning your own lift How do you even live with yourself
Nicholas Rivera
you just admitted that every h4 powered Subaru is the "best engine bay in the last 5 years".
Please stfu.
t.a Subarufag
Kayden Butler
The head gaskets issues on Subaru's weren't a problem anymore past 2009
Joseph Collins
>they added the engine cover to make it look better >still looks shit lul
Bentley Walker
Implying anyone wants a piece of shit Ford Fuckus It's baffling how anyone wants to buy something that looks like an angry catfish.
Straight up that bay looks bad. It looks like everything was carelessly tossed in there, nothing seems to fit where it is.
Jack Sanders
>Implying anyone wants a piece of shit Ford Fuckus
When was the last time the FR-Shit was the best selling car in the world?
Dominic Evans
>easily accessible >boxer
Easton Walker

You can't make shitposting like this up!
Joshua Bennett
They all look like a mess of tubes whats the difference?, the best to me is a tucked FWD honda, very easy to work on as opposed to a stock modern car.
Isaac James
they put the ecu inside of the engine bay? wtf
Wyatt Rodriguez
looks like garbage
Austin Watson
>headlamp burns out >take off the bumper and remove the engine to change it
Fuck Nazi engineering
>no dipstick
Nolan Scott
When was the last time a Ford Focus outlasted anything other than a Volvo or Saab?
Eli King
>shitty boxer engine
Nope.
Austin Wilson
Check FJ or FF, plenty of Foci with 200k+. Lots of Subaru's have head gasket failures before that.
Gavin Myers
Head gaskets are a maintenance item done at 100k.
Jaxson Jenkins
lolno
Cooper Lopez
Super easy to work on, just roll into your local merc dealer, hand them a credi card and drive away in a C300 loaner. Bring in a AMG (Not the CLA) and you get a S63 AMG at the local dealer.
William Lewis
>not having a supercharger the size of your econobox's whole engine
Nathan Sanchez
But then you'd have a Dodge. And no one wants a Dodge.
Lucas Russell
pretty much broken from factory.
Colton Perez
>spend the next year chasing problems before selling at a huge loss

Evan James

Jack Campbell
mfw the frs is lighter than the shitstang ecoboost by almost 1000 pounds and the focus by 400
>mfw also comparing turbo'd cars to NA
Xavier Diaz
That's how I feel with my subaru. There's zero space to work on it in. Honestly my favorite bays are the small 4 banger Honda bays because there's room for days.
Michael Ross
o shit wadup p71 owner.
Jack King
>Oil starving your engine every startup
It's like you don't like cars
Justin Reyes
Not a bad engine bay, and in a car that on Prius tires laps faster than the ND club.
David Green
>Head gadgets are maintenance item
So is prepping your bull, that's nothing to be proud of
Julian White
wheres the intercooler go? Don't say its an NA OP.
Ryan Edwards
On the front when you boost it, because TMICs are garbage.
John Reyes
The FRS/GT86/BRZ comes as n/a only. They didn't turbocharge it because there would be no place. However some weeks after its release tuning companies came up with turbo and supercharger kits, making the car push between 250 and 400hp, first one on stock internals. Don't know why they didn't see what could have been. Also the engine is available as turbocharged variant on the current WRX.
Asher Sullivan
The only place there would be space is behind the intake mani but they would have to rotate it. Even then, it would be tiny as fuck.
