I can understand the motives but I don't condone the actions.

I think the point of the game is getting through adversity and not letting the troubles in life turn you bitter, like it did with Asriel and Chara.

When they say let go, they don't mean let go of companionship and whatever it is you might do to avoid being lonely. They mean to let go of the guilt and the association of those bad feelings when life gets you down.

This rings so true. People in the real world just don't give a shit and never try to understand, and the moment you show any weakness to them, they'll cast you aside. It bothers me so much.

The world is just viciously hostile to broken or damaged people. I think that's a big reason why I want to save Chara, because I've felt like I'm beyond helping too.

Helplessness like that is a common side effect of being abused and is to be expected, and the reason why people turn away ones that are hurt so easily is because they risk getting hurt themselves.

It's easy to stay inclusive and what we do and how we effect people, but if you look past that it becomes quite evident what people like us do to them.

And besides, Suffering is best left to the ones who are used to it. Burn for someone else, instead of damning the ones who put you here in the first place.
