Is anyone else actually having fun with comp right now?

I never played it last season. Maybe it's cuz I'm only playing with friends who I know are competent, but losses don't seem that bad. It's just a fun mode because I feel like I'm slowly improving with certain characters.

I had fun last season but now every single game there's a reaper or mccree main on my team saying he's carrying because of his gold medal in damage. Even though my friends were rank 83 last season we can't even get to master
