Previously on Mighty Car Mods: We have two mini meets happening this week, the first one is on Friday, details at .
The second mini meet is at Main Event located in Webster on Sunday at 3P.M. This is a conference meet to discuss details about the monthly meet of August and upcoming events. Details Now onto the news.
Make sure you download the app "Zello" and join the H/o/u group. This is our form of communication when on the road, it's a walkie talkie app for iPhone and Android.
>/hou/ You need a puddle light projector of your Meet logo. Or of your nightwave.org or whatever website for hosting meet info and trip info. If you take tours of local car accessory manufacturers or Volo car museum, that would be a nice site to visit even for non members in your texas area. If your article are always positive and without rancor, then those places will be pleased you came, and maybe other companies will want you to come visit on a factory tour too. It doesn't matter if it is small or not, if you learn more about car parts. I'd like to visit a car wrap shop for example and see how the wraps and things are made and applied.
You should check with a domain name registry before deciding on a name. A word like "nightwave" seems to be popular. So, you could say, a good name like "cloud" or "more" or "houston" sounds like a great name, let's register it now! Then you find out all those names were taken long ago.
Check nightwave name availability at one of the domain registrar companies. One of them is: www {D0T} godaddy {D0T} com
Kevin Myers
Use namecheap instead, they offer free DNS hosting. Godaddy are also jews and will never, ever stop spamming your mail address once you give it to them.
One of the most important things that have been to done to /hou/, props man.

Friendly reminder:
Mini meet is happening tonight at Bear Creek Dr at the parking lot of A&M Agricultural Center. It will start around 7:30 PM
Eli Reed
I noticed there's a project titled "Assetto Corsa render of 149," what exactly does that need to get it done? Some sort of laser scanning tool?
Luis Robinson
Lol mini meets everyday this weekend
Nathaniel Howard
Two days
Daniel Butler
can i bring a grill to cook food with
David Morgan
It's mostly modeling the road after google maps and getting certain areas accurate with google street view, it's a very long procedure to do. Laser Scanning would be quite badass for this job but you gotta stick with what you got.
3 mini-meets in a row, kek.
M-maybe, I was suggesting to Turbo Snail we just grab food from a nearby fast food place or as he said we can just get food from the grocery store and cook it on a grill.
James Collins
Ill bring some coal starter fluid and some meat we will get some shit started. It says They have grills. There

I did that on mine, took metal shelving brackets, bent them into shape, put it into place. Worked pretty well, I though.
Also, kudos to whoever suggested taking a grinder to my mounting brackets, it let me sit the thing in there, but I'm still getting the actual saddle when I can. This should work for now though.
Jacob Torres
I saw a heavy duty shelf bracket at home depot and i thought to myself I could make two brackets out of one shelf bracket with a grinder and drill
Also anonymous welcomes you ;)
Angel Diaz
I'm still trying to figure out the issue with the carburetor on it, so I don't think I'll be ready to bring it to the mini-meet Sunday, but I'm hoping it'll be ready for the next big meet. Someone suggested it could've been acting up from fuel sloshing around in the tank when it gets low, which makes sense since it only dies when I idle outside of park -- it seems to be fine otherwise. I've had to run every stoplight and stopsign on my way to work and back because of it.
Ayden Powell
What's going down at the mini meet? I'll try to make it if I'm back in that part of town in time.
Levi Hernandez
This will be a chill meetup, just pure light banter here and there, maybe some pics and grilling as well.
Jacob Moore
So if the tank is full you don't have this problem?
Owen Cook
dracula might be able to enlighten you because I only know efi stuff
Owen James
I can't swear that's what causing it, but I don't ever notice it when I've got a full tank. I thought at first it was because I wasn't using premium on an engine tuned for it, but even with the stuff I was still getting it once the fuel ran down.
Yeah, maybe Drac will know more, no one I've spoken to was really sure. I did figure out my speedometer problem finally though, wires crossed with some other gauges.
Wyatt Hall
my buddy has a 79 firebird that looks just like that
Aiden Torres
I wasn't sure if I liked the shiny panel at first, but it kind of grew on me. The whole car is awesome, my only complaint is I can't hear the radio over the engine, I don't think there's any sort of sound dampening in the body anywhere. Can't even carry on a conversation in it, which is probably fine, no one else ever rides in it with me since they think it's a deathtrap.
Not carbd but maybe you have a fuel pickup or fuel pump issue or a fuel filter problem.
Charles Hughes
Clogged idle jet most likely.
Owen Price
I'll go and check these out soon as I can, I checked the primary jet for clogs but didn't think about the idle.
Eli Martinez
If it's not one of those issues, ask /dbt/ if they can help diagnose the issue. Nobody has more experience with carbs than them.

It sounds like vapor lock; lower quantities of gas in a mostly empty tank get hot and evaporate in the lines when there's not enough pressure to keep the fuel flowing.
I'd also be suspect of the choke adjustment, as my Excalibur does the opposite; it stumbles at idle until warmed up.
Jack Bennett
Where specifically in the park are we meeting?
Anthony Cruz
Parking lot of A&M AgriLife

I did the same thing for the throttle bracket on my DeLorean setup:
Brandon Sullivan

Jackson Howard
m8 i just realized it's happening when i posted I thought the main event thing and this was all the same day 2bh. can't make it since i'm literally on the complete opposite side of houston
Elijah Miller
Dunno if I'm gonna be able to make it. I'm still in Spring and won't be heading out for a little while. I'll check the thread/zello when i'm leaving to see if I can still catch you guys.
Robert Gutierrez
Oh shit, the jig is up!
Nah, my light was on because I signed back into Zello after doing a factory reset on my phone. I didn't even know you guys were doing a meet today tbqh.
Matthew Davis
Our current location, Miata, SC, GS and Turbo are here.
Eli Wood
Crap. I didn't check the thread and wasn't sure where to look. I saw y'all but there were only two cars and I didn't know who or what I was looking for. ~X
Parker Wilson
Starting to feel the anticipation for this one. Knees weak, palms sweaty.
Joseph Fisher
Too bad there hasn't been an aesthetic Lexus since 2005.
Aaron Butler
Who the fuck is X?
Adam Price
Just an user that planned on coming that drove by in an evo x. Sorry to be cryptic.
Ayden Sanders
So ... you just drove by and kept driving?
Blake Gomez
Like I said, I had not checked the thread and didn't know whether the meet was still going on. Last I had read it was at the A&M building. Either way, if my schedule permits, I'll be at the next meet.

2D > 3D is true though.
Benjamin Peterson
Literally isn't
2d girls have fewer physical dimensions, fewer mental dimensions, and are inferior over all
2d > 3d is like FWD > RWD. False, because basic physics. 2d can't put enough power to the ground or corner as effectively as 3d. Oh yeah, you might say 2d can dorifto, but 3d is much better at dorifto. Fact.
