$2,300 for a $1,100 air intake, $200 throttle body and a GT350 air intake that isn't even sold separately including a more performance oriented tune. Not that bad of a deal.

Ive pretty much accepted the fuck ill never restore a piece of classic american muscle in my youth. I'd love to bring a charger or a fastback mustang back to life but the prices are just too damn high. By the time i have enough money laying around for such a project ill be middle aged and likely be able to just pay a shop to do all the hard stuff and it just won't be the same.

Original engine at 700k miles. Base LS1 isn't exactly high strung, one of the benefits of starting with a high displacement. 350hp becomes 450hp very easily while still reliable on a C5, and it's only 3300lbs as opposed to a boat.
