Probably. I doubt emblems or anything will be given out for having all 5. People would immediately complain because they didn't know the logistics of the ARG when they picked up their strain so they couldn't have made an effort to obtain all 5 for muh completionism (which bungie obviously cares about since the past week has been 3x challenge mode on KF). Most likely it was just a little exp/rep boost to make edging easier. I doubt there will be any negative consequences to having any strains because they aren't going to punish people for playing. The only somewhat plausible suggestion I've heard is that the tower will be quarantined on launch so that people have to go discover felwinter's peak to open engrams and whatnot, but even that seems pretty far fetched.
