It really depends on the group because most of the damage is avoidable with interupts/stuns/CC/not standing in shit.

Trash is worse than bosses for the most part and I'd say Arcway/Court of Stars have the worst trash next to Nelth's lair, pelters are annoying as shit because they hop out of cleave and nobody ever thinks to CC them, BRH also has pretty terrible trash just due to the amount of random damage they throw out.

I'm using my 100 token on a priest.

Which is best for mythic healing? Disc or Holy?

I honestly think the only hard dungeon is vault of the wardens

Mythic dungeons or raids.
Dungeons would be Disc
Raids would be Holy (although disc is nice too)

Ret was great from like 2.2, in tier 5 gear the damage was pretty middle of the road except in very short and very long fights but the utility was amazing, especially the healing from judgement of light, and from T6 when you could have enough str and crit you could easily pull 2k DPS, especially in Sunwell.

Honestly holy is the safe choice and disc is better than shadow for leveling.

I guess disc will be decent to great in raid but will require a lot more external participation to work.

Disc is actually easier leveling because you can't die.

Honestly a good Disc priest is worth its weight in gold, you can heal mythic dungeons and have great burst windows on short cooldowns for raids.
Disc in raiding has nothing to do with external participation, it's about setting up atonements before heavy damage comes in so you can quickly get everyone back up. Disc is still a proactive vs reactive healing spec and that's why people are upset about it.

They are all easy if people just do their job instead of tunneling the boss. The main difficulty comes from people ignoring mechanics and people are not overgeared enough for it yet. Also, people do not use all the abilities available to their classes most of the time. As an example I have never seen any other druid use Ursol's Vortex on the spider trash before Cordana even though it's brilliant for it.
