What does Veeky Forums think about the lotus elise?
What does Veeky Forums think about the lotus elise?
Why would you EVER buy one when you could get a Corvette instead? I don't see Elises raping GTRs.
Not a fan, rather just have an NA Miata. Of all the things wrong with it the number 1 for me is no gauges, how the fuck does a "track car" only have warning lights?
>Corvette
>What does Veeky Forums think about the lotus elise?
I think it's pretty good.
ford>henneshit
theyre only 30 grand though
elise a cute
A CUTE
if i wanted a roadster id get a miata.
It's the british love child of a Miata and an AYY LMAO
Have you ever driven an Elise?
It is a very different car than the miata
How is it anything like a miata? The both have two doors, that's about it. Elise/exige is MR to start with.
>not making your own Lotus
>not getting a MR2 and swapping a V6
baka
Horribly overrated, but it's one of the few modern British sportscars you can buy in the US.
You mean getting an MR-S and swapping in a 2ZZ-GE and 7G Celica transmission, right?
I think it's a shame that they have gotten so fat. First gen is cool.
for 30 grand you could buy a kawasaki H2 and literally be the fastest thing that will ever go around the track.
*dry track between late spring an early autumn
Apart from dat Rover K engine. The K stands for kettle.
I'm not even a vette fanboy but getting passed on a track? You do know corvette customers are old boomers who don't actually race, right?
...
elise is like the best tuner car ever made.
...
>work at a racetrack
>3 Elise on track
>probably most nimble cars out there
>cuck drivers never go above 60 even in the straights
Every single time
Guy in my neighborhood has one pretty cool and sound pretty decent
it's for manlets
if you are not a midget you can't use this
>if you are not a midget you can't use this
You can. Jeremy Clarkson can fit in it. But you'll absolutely look like an imbecile trying to crawl in and out of it if you have the roof on.
Yes, have you? There isn't much functional difference for me between driving a stripped down NA/NB and an Elise on the street.
The Exige is low-key my dream car. I would daily it and not give a single fuck
>amerifat; the picture
I'd rather a stripped out 2ZZ MR-S
I'm 6'4
I want a Exige
I would kill for one, or I have £26,000 so almost there.
I don't do finance or debt.
Broke college student here so this will have to wait, but I'm also 6'3 so I hope this car isn't restricted to manlets. I'd prefer to not get cucked into only being able to drive it for 30 min before cramps
Checked
You wouldn't be comfortable, the seat is already on the floor, you can't do any of the tricks you can with other small cars like chopping the bracket or taking foam out of it
I drive a Del Sol with bucket seats that are bolted in.
