The frunk actually had storage and it also had cargo behind the rear seats. Not as fair, but it also had room for hectic time traveling paraphernalia above the engine in its hatch area.

The roadster has none of that.

In the end they simply stuck a blender on top of the engine cover, which you can do just as well on a Roadster, and I'm sure you can fit some illuminated tubes into the rear window as well.

The Vector W8 was designed in the late 1970's, but didn't enter production (almost identical to the concept) until the early 1990's.
