Tbh I prefer playing those games mostly vanilla. Many quests and their rewards feel like dogshit and a waste of time when you already modded better things in.

That's why you get balanced weapon mods, difficult quest mods, and mods that make the game harder
Honestly though, I've played NV so much over the years that modding it has become more fun than actually playing it

i'm having some weird issues with stealth in bg2

after i make the first stealth check, every once in a while my thief randomly makes it again, and sometimes it fails and drops him out of it

also occasionally when combat starts he will randomly unstealth for no reason so i can't get the backstab

i never had any of these problems in bg1, is it a bug or did they nerf stealth or something?

i did, seems fine, i even have party ai completely turned off for now. there do seem to be some weird script bugs though where scripts on two of my characters just don't do anything and they stand there as if their AI was off even when AI is on.
