Hi I'm new to DD

How are you liking it so far user.

I feel useless.

I just checked and one of the mods I'm running apparently changes the cast speed bonus from the sorc augment from 10 to 50%.
Which would explain why I noticed it so much when it I got it but I don't really feel overpowered, I basically just cast buffs and bounce combos between a cannon and a ruin sigil anyway and my pawn doesn't use magic.

In what way? Underleveled?

Honestly I do. It kind of adds an air of legitimacy to the image and the logo is positioned so it's not intrusive.

I still can't get over how great the pc port was made, even better now with a new gpu so I can crank everything up to max.

In honor of my new gpu I started playing again. Made my pawn and arisen a pair of dwarf fighters.

I know it's cheap, but goddamn I don't know if I can justify buying the same game three times to myself no matter how much I love it.

I bought vanilla DD at full price, Dark Arisen at full price on the 360, bought Dark Arisen again on PS3, and then on PC.

Capcom knows how much I love this game.

Yeah, but the game has always been locked to the aspect ratio. It's something that has always been there - complaining it's part of the port is nonsense.

Most PC exclusives are locked to 16:9 and DD on consoles was below 16:9 so it is a good port and you can't argue your way out of that fact.

The only downsides were no Berserk DLC and the weird issue with naming your characters.

Bring Demon's Periapts and Surging Light tomes (if you have them). That's how I deal with them.

What skills do people use when playing Warrior?

Mace, there's almost no reason to use a sword as MK

Exodus is pretty much a "must-have" skill for Warriors.

Guys, I'm a level 76 assassin going through bitterblack 2.0.

This is fucking rough, I'm doing it with me (daggerbow assassin) and pawn (fighter w/ bulk for protection). Am I underleveled for it? Should I get more pawns? Should I git gud?

Get a mage or sorcerer pawn if you don't have one if it's your first time though. Be sure to keep the Incense items handy if you have any as they heal the entire party. Lvl 80 is usually the level most people do BBI from my experience. Enjoy the challenge while it's still there.

I still get hires from the PS3 version. Pretty big payouts. The Divine Surcoat is eye candy for other Arisens. Of course I supply the skills and inclinations needed to further entice hires.

That's why I use Curse Dragons or the Dark Bishop though there are times it won't Dragonforge. I still prefer them than the lesser Dragonkin.

I see a lot of brown skinned beauties walking around PS3 Gran Soren these days. Makes me wonder if the game has picked up steam in the southern hemisphere.

It honestly does seem that way, and I'm not sure why.

Yeah, my pawn is brown too. I noticed that it attracts a lot of hires, plus I prefer looking at the brown beauties.

There's a brown with reddish hair color combo that seems popular right now, looks great imo.

Now that I think about it my fighter dude who gets hired steadily has that.

The two colors compliment each other well, which I use too on my secondary pawn and she gets more hires than my main pawn.

I've got another pawn that's never been hired, I think I might change his coloring and see if it works. Details like this interest me a lot.
