Fistweaving is/was the Mistweaver hybrid damage and healing playstyle. Mistweavers in MoP and WoD could heal allies by damaging the enemy, the damage would convert a % into healing a random ally.

I Plan on rerolling from Shadow priest to monk, and since the how stat changes are and how easy it is to switch between specs I can be a healer sometimes and dps other times if the raid calls for either.
question is, How viable is Windwalker monk in pve? I hear they wreck shit in pvp but I've heard nothing about pve

820's the bare minimum. I only remember 835+ being the norm for the Suramar mythics.

once you get the achievement your IL is purple, regardless of the IL I believe.

You just need to wear an 840+ item in that slot once, and for rings and trinkets you can just take the same 840+ item and switch slots to count towards the achievement.
