Yeah, I've seen a Lili getting MVP only because it was the only player with 0 deaths.
Everyone else in both teams had at least 2.

I think that's the most important thing for MVP

i feel like dying halves the score you've accumulated up until when you died or otherwise severely lowers it
either way, seeing as dying early on allegedly doesn't affect the MVP calculation that heavily it seems likely that this score thing can't drop into negative values

Does anyone else think neo Butcher is kind of an unhealthy game design?
Don't get me wrong, I think he's high flying fun as fuck and totally on-point from an enjoyment perspective, but I've found myself thinking very un-team-ly things, if that's a word. Thought processes like "I don't want to go contest this, my HP isn't full and I have a suspicion I'll get focused and die, and I do not want to lose 10 meat--I'll stay in lane and keep farming, I'm not too far from 125"
I've been overly cautious because losing meat is a hassle and the bonus from complete meat is too good.

That's kind of been the fear behind adding all these quest talents. Subconsciously swaying people to do more of one thing at the expense of playing with your team.

Thrall shows up in so many great team comps. He's a safe strong choice in draft. He's fun to play. He's strong. He self sustains himself. He can solo a lane really well. His Sundering is impactful and can swing a team fight. He's easy to get a hang of. He's balanced enough not to be nerfed.

I mean he has shit all for a healthpool so he cant tank, but he deals next to no damage without locusts too, so why does his kit center around going in to sit in the enemies face when he isnt more than annoying right now?

Like fuck man, I tried Dehaka and besides the pot smoking Thrall, this match was so annoying, hitting Lunara point blank with my Q didnt stop her from Jumping AT ALL, I wasnt aware Im playing LoL where old heroes get absolutely gutted by new ones.

The only hero I have different bindings for is Rexxar. I have no idea who thought that his Misha Micro button should be on 1 and not his trait key. Considering you have to micro misha constantly, I prefer it on my trait key

It's because when he originally came out he didn't have that 1 key. He only had his trait to try and control Misha and the leash range was like 50% smaller.

global mobility is fun but he has exactly one "contribute to teamfight" button and it's on a 15 second cooldown so you can feel kind of useless at times

Yeah for sure, I'm just putting Medivh in a niche, because being that good and coordinated with your team seems to be a niche circumstance.

Medivh is one of those heroes who tons of people under-perform with but is often a great character for pros.

Spacebar for mount, since I used to play a lot of Rehgar and its just useful.

Retreat ping on M3, because stahp dummies, staaaahp.

I had to choose between Anub and Nazeebo.
Took Naz because i thought "hey, at least now I have ALL the specialists in the game and who knows, maybe he'll be fun"

Bloodlust is such a good ult I don't know why people get mad when I pick it. We fucking steamroll in team fights with it.

The only thing that makes it worse in comparison to Ancestral is that you can't cover some idiot's mistakes with it. It helps fight against your own team's poor positioning. And either way, CC is rampant in this game, so your Raynor or Butcher or whoever, is likely going to be CC'd or Blinded to shit for a good amount of time or something. It's really good, yeah, just that there's so many counters to it.

You stun him. You can silence him. You can polymorph him. All during his long 2 second spell casting. You can dodge out of view and it cancels his casting.

If it comes at you, you can skillfully juke it with a good teleport. You also have things like Tracer's recall. Falstad can fly back to the Hall of Storms. Chromie can use her fast hearthing back ability.

If it hits you, you can survive it in many ways. At full health many heroes can take the hit. Since it's so predictable you can also time all sorts of invulnerability, shields, you can put on resistance, you can go into stasis, there are options.

If worse comes to worse and it gets a kill. It's one kill on 100 second cooldown that isn't as sure a thing as people may think.

I have done so and it's indeed a nice combo, those talents are so much better now that spread out cc does the job just as well as sustained.

Not to mention that Medivh force of will can completely negate it

Phoenix is almost always the better ult

I feel the ms alone allows you catch people just outside your reach off guard, your entire team can be one an enemy away from the flock in the blink of an eye.

Bloodlust is in that same category as Divine Storm where the ult is really good, but the other ult is so prevalent that your team just expects you to have it and rages when you don't
