Pronouns communicate biological information in very limited contexts. Biology might be relevant to pronoun information in medical or scientific or maybe sexual settings? In most social communication we're just communicating somebody's identity.

Firstly, I think there's an issue of indeterminate categorisation here in the contours of your "social justice circles". You could mean anything from social justice activists to mere advocates of social justice to people who identify as being left-of-centre to professional psychologists who have spent their lives studying the concept of gender to pinko commies who want absolute equality. The problem with blurring lines like those is that not everyone thinks alike and assuming they do is obviously going to bring about contradictions, and using those contradictions as if they were internal logical inconsistencies as a counterpoint to me is prejudicial to the discussion we're having. It's unfair, and actually goes to your point about suppressing "dissent".

Bearing that in mind: I don't think people who strive for equality of outcome (what you put as "men and women being 100% the same") suggest that men and women are of necessity identical. Two people can have distinct personalities, and yet have identical aptitudes for specific performance. For example Bill and Mike, two men, can have the same aptitude to get a particular score on a test. That doesn't mean that they must therefore have identical tastes, interests, politics, physical profiles or personalities in general. I think you can distinguish between what is feminine and what is masculine without also being forced to believe that men and women aren't equally capable of a large number of things.

As to your second reply, I don't see the connection between language concerning personal identity and your ability to dissent.

Hey, I gave you two answers based on whether you believe that genders are different or not, so I didn't just completely categorize you. So now that you said that you believe in gender differences, can you explain why there are so many male-to-female speedrunners compared to actual women? It's basically a 50:50 split between them in this community. If they really had a female idendity, wouldn't you expect the same spread of hobbies among them? Why do so many mtfs play video games instead of collecting dolls, riding horses or knitting?

If it's demonstrably true that the ratio of mtf:cis-women in the sr community is large, that would be good evidence that men and women are equally capable of speed running but it's the make up of the community that makes it male exclusive. The mtf members of the community were accepted into the community at first instance, rather than breaking into it post-transition. I can't think of any exceptions to that anyway.

I know that on the few Kazooie videos I've seen the comments sections are filled with comments not about her performance but her appearance, which are clearly legit, as opposed to the joking sort of comments people might leave on say a trihex or forsen video. If that's what people are interested in, then you have two choices - feed into it and get called an attention-whoring gamer gurl, or stick to the script and have your project die.

Further - narcissa does in her streams do broadly feminine hobbies. I mean she's always had the nail painting thing, I'm pretty sure she talks about clothes an awful lot now (I only watched her twilight princess LP in part though, so maybe I'm wrong).
