Bow of Blast and Balance. Bring smoke bombs, bring up the fence, don't be greedy on your smoke bomb use. Run until the fence is ready again if you get spotted, get some arrows in if you can.

i believe its 15 raw in cold areas, 5 for cold drank

+15 raw and +20 def, only activates in cold zones.
You can also drink a cold drink for +5 raw.

In cold areas, free Cold Res & +15 raw. When you take a cold drink anywhere, +5 raw.

Hotblooded provides a similar attack boost too, but provides a small amount of defense for the hot drink instead. So they're practically free AuM but are a lot more situational. And guess which one finds more use?

What was it like learning your very first weapon? Did everybody rush SnS or try to go hipster and be unique? I started gunlance doing nothing but hiding and OCCASIONALLY poke or shell. It wasn't until after tri that I learned how to read monsters and grasp the weird play style that GL has to offer
