Why are games that use lots of solid color always flat shaded?

the bottom half looks good but the helmet probably deserves some more polys in the front IMO, the sharpness of the faceguard just clashes with the rest of the model.

looks like a GBC game, but in much higher res. Nice sprites either way.

I made a low poly once

To keep things simple, I'm using a self-imposed rule that sprites should only have black contours and four colors. That probably makes it give those GBC vibes.

looks great, except the wheels and treads are just way too clean, especially given the wear already visible on the lower edge of the metal exterior. They need a good dose of war 'n' weather to really make this model shine.

Doing that in SFML is incredibly easy, even if you wanted a scene graph where you can draw everything at once and manipulate sprites, you'd essentially be calling two functions to draw children nodes.

The only difficult part I had to deal with wasn't even related to """enginedevving""" and that was because I didn't really know much about functions and templates at the time.

how do I make a sine wave movement in the x axis on game maker?

I'm willing to bet that the lewd jam is the greatest factor in why you would be seeing a rise in content of that nature. However, as those games either get finished or dropped, when newer lewd content is proposed it's possible that it will be met with cries of lewd jam already happened, etc. Until such time has passed that it is no longer a stale suggestion.

If you were a Veeky Forumsnessman, I'd say to short lewd for the next few months, perhaps until mid January, before Valentines day season where lewd will receive more attention. Unless the fed finally gets off it's ass and raises the dag gum interest rates.

Thought i wasnt gonna make any progress today but i managed to make 4 new itens and change a lot of shit

Made a Shield, that protects you and can be placed, and made some new cure itens, a bucket with water that is the first Weapon/cure iten, you can use it or thow the water in a enemy .
Made a towel to make you can cure 'wetness" and made a pill cure poison

managed to modify the cure iten code so older cure itens have some extra curatives, incase you use a juice on fire you will stop it.

I see no difference

whatever.x = average_x + (sin(time) * magnitude)

average_x is the middle point of the sin wave, it will move left and right of that x value
time is whatever kind of timer, something that ticks up in time. Divide time to make the sine wave slower.
magnitude is the distance to move left and right of the average_x position.

Note this is just pseudo code.

I wasn't certain what you meant at first, but I took a look at the frames in aseprite.
