The only reason it was easy is because I spent like a few hours training and got two final form digimon before even getting too far into the game

Maybe replace Patamon with the Centalmon Appmon if he's a child equivalent. (I'm not sure what level he is.)

There was a lot wrong with Next Order. Cyber Sleuth was mostly just too easy. Read this it goes over literally everything.

Although I do disagree with one thing. The art direction of the environments looks so boring compared to Re:Digitize, but maybe it's better when you play through it yourself.

I love Meicoomon's story so far in Digimon Tri. I want to raise it and a MarinAngemon so badly.

And to be fair I could never ever get into a Digimon World game because you have to rely so much on guides and training so I think I will actually enjoy this game. I can't stand how bad the roster sounds though. Too many recolours and not enough unique Digimon at all. I hope the english version fixes this.

Almost only heroes, 7 Devil Lords, Knights, and Meicoomon. Buggy as fuck. Digimon like to follow their "canon" digivolution route way too heavily (want Agumon to go Tyranno and not Grey? Good fucking luck), story is kinda meh as a sequel to DW1, messy multiplayer, and training is weird.

But most of that will get fixed now, so it bumps up to an 8 maybe, which is great!

I've been conflicted (for a whole year it seems) over whether there should be a space for stats, and if so, which ones. I believe I've asked this before, would you mind telling me your opinion again?
A few things I've decided:
>This needs to be doable in a tabletop game because I like tabletop games, using only addition and physical dice during play.
>Accuracy, Power (adds damage), Evasion and Defense are mandatory. Some games give a fixed accuracy % to techniques, but obviously not all digimon should have the same chance of hitting or the same chance of being hit.
>HP will probably be a stat, it has to be or else I'm diverging too far from the source material, but I need to figure out the exact amount so that an average digimon of any given stat total can take three or four times the damage it can deal, rather than everyone eventually becoming damage sponges. I do have a tentative solution however: different evolution stages use different size dice for damage.
>Speed can be cut, just being an Evasion roll at the start of battle. If it isn't cut, it isn't rolled, whoever has the highest Speed is guaranteed to go first so the stat can be as valuable as others.
>I want to avoid Intelligence, or at least calling it that, because it's not obvious what benefit it would give to pure physical attackers and I don't believe in dump stats. If there is a mental stat, it should enable better techniques and passive abilities, in which case I'm going to have to describe those before I put such a stat on a template.
>Techniques and basic attacks must not necessarily deal the same amount of damage, which ties into the previous point. Stronger techniques must be limited in some way and that requires a full ruleset. Right now I'm thinking of using cooldowns, not MP.

In the Meicoomon/Meicrackmon DLC.

Basically it tells us that Meicoomon has horrible memory issues, tends to go berserk and needs to be beaten into submission, made it clear she was the source of the infection and then during Meicrackmon event we were told she eventually tried to meet up with Mei again but an organization known as White Fang kidnapped Mei, and then used a device to banish her from their world before she went berserk again in Next Order world.

Meicoomon is basically what would have happened if Guilmon was never able to learn how to chill out in Tamers and just randomly switched to full FERAL mode.

No. It just makes it clear that Meicoomon's pattern of behavior is basically Violent - Docile - Violent - Docile, with her ability to retain memories being so deficient that she kept a diary that she ended up forgetting she even kept one yet at times she'll regain memories.

It I was going to hypothesize, Meicoomon likely resets itself constantly to keep the Virus in check in itself, and that while the Virus can effect her memories it can't delete them or erase them permanently. Which is good news for the Adventure Kid's Digimon

Depends. It runs smoother, looks better and loads quicker. But if you've already gone through the vita version this will just be a big screen version of it.

Is it bad that although I liked Digimon before, Appmon is what has me full-into the series? Was always a fan of World 1, and the virtual pets really inspired me to program, but the digivices were always too expensive for me, so I didn't really get as interested as I wanted..

Now, with Re:Digitize translated, Decode following soon, and Appmon being BN as fuck while also being addictive to play, I took the series off my backlogs, and am watching the shit outta all the shows. Anyone else in a similar situation?

Somehow more hyped for Appmon than Pokemon SM, and I've always been a big Pokemon fan. It's wild. Just glad to finally be getting my first digivice and the chance to watch it live.

This is random, but I did this the other day because Appmon reminds me as if Battle Network and Digimon crossed together. So I thought, what if they actually did?

It's basically like a double soul/cross with UlforceVeedramon. I want to do more, not sure what to do next. Maybe Gallantmon? Also, any criticism on Ulsoul would be great. I keep tweaking it because it always bugs me.
