My dad went form NOVA to Miami in the hatch space of one of these.

Because the frame strength is all in the A pillar. This means safe cabin in front, and front overhang crashes. The B pillar is close to A pillar too, so the car does well in side impacts.

That's like a maybe 30 minute to hour drive
