The only reason people bring Adachi up in relation to Goro is because Adachi was P4's "twist" villain. Other than that they barely have any similarities besides killing a few people.

More than anything else, Adachi was everything the P4 cast was looking for (Izanami was just the greater scope antagonist). But Goro's twist is more of a red herring for the true twist, that being Igor being a fake, and Yaldabaoth being the true antagonist.
