I don't think it would work like this. Flowey would not regain his love and compassion with a human soul. Human souls do not have those two as parts of them. Humans can feel those thanks to their bodies, but it's not because it's literally part of who they are. Even a soul that was known for its kindness could not give Flowey anything like it.

This is a recurring theme in the story.
Asriel, Toriel, Asgore, Alphys, Papyrus, Sans. All of them try to cope with their problems in the most ridiculous ways by themselves instead of working together to come to a solution, and it only backfires in their face.
