They are impossible as fuck to find on Craigslist. I almost grabbed one for 800 dollars, but somebody squeeged it away from me. From what I've read, they are pretty solid cars.

My legit dream car since I was 6 or less.
Had few Bburago models.

Good choice though, just not 288
We didn't have mitsubishi in Canada for a while. This guy at my high school had one of these. He tried so hard to make into an Eclipse. This was during full F&F days ~2003

Ferrari 612 Scagletti. Last elegant Ferrari before they started designing running shoe supercars to pander to oil money sandniggers. Also examples less than eight years old have depreciated by up to 75%, but I still can't afford one.
This is the only car ive ever wanted, its A E S T H E T I C, fast, fun, easy to maintain, and it was under 6k when i bought it

I will always regret not getting the mk4 R32; instead i bought the mk4 GTI 25th Anniversary, as at the time it was the better option (lower mileage, cheaper to buy, only 19 at the time so insurance was £1900 a yr on the GTI, as opposed to being close to £3k on the R32).
I then bought the mk5 R32 (as a good mk4 was the same price, but it's just no where near as nice as a mk4); I'm now on the mk6 R which has been nothing short of disappointing ever since (shitty exhaust noise, powers just not there like the V6 was)
If i could find a good sub 40k mileage mk4 for a reasonable price i'd probably get one in a heart beat nowadays
