What do you think of IVs ? Autism or not autism? What do you preffer a shit pokemon with a good move set or a Perfect Pokemon with a shit move set? I don't know man.

I still aim for at least when your gym leader says he has 67-80%.
The difference on stats is minimal but the CP difference is interesting enough that it might save you a power up or place you on a better place on a gym.

Dunno about scyther but tangela is seriously underrated. It's a pretty sturdy mon, it can tank ice beams and survive long enough to fire a solar beam

is he the water gym killer we need?
I never tested him, what kind of water mons can he take and at what CP difference?

John Hanke sure has an interesting life of conning, getting evicted from companies, and having others do his work for him and taking all the credit.

In the year 20XX, all the world's gyms will be filled with perfect IV, max level Dragonites from the second seat upwards. Dragonite hierarchy will be determined a series of rock-paper-scissors matches upon placing your Dragonite in a gym.

Real talk, though, how does the game organize gym members if CP is equal?

In my experience a 750CP Tangela with vine whip/solar beam has been able to kill a 1332 Slowbro with confusion/ice beam (I was using it to train a gym). Even fucking up the dodging and getting hit directly left him with enough life to use solar beam and end the Slowbro. I never used it again though so wouldn't know. Will test further in the future.

Just had a random girl who was furiously tapping her phone while standing outside my nearest gym if I was team blue, she was slurring her words so badly I thought he was asking if I was doing blow.

No idea why she asked me, I was on my bike at an intersection with no phone visible and I've also been banned for a month anyway.

Fuck, this update broke the game for me somehow.

Every time I click on a gym, the game freezes up for a few seconds and then stutters and jitters for a while when I try to scroll through the list of defenders.

If I click on a wild Pokemon after leaving the gym screen, the Pokemon sounds are fucked. Every time the Pokemon makes a sound, the Pokemon cry goes on infinite loop even after the Pokemon is caught. Sound made on first encounter, sound made after every ball swat, etc. They all stack on top of each other and go on infinite loop so it sounds like my phone is having some sort of mega seizure.

If I never click on a gym screen again, I'll be fine. But it's like having face down cards on a card game in real life, I can't help myself from not checking every 2 seconds when I'm idle.

Somehow, Niantic manages to break shit nobody asked them to break. This is great.

Against Seed Bomb Exeggutor? Yes.
Against anything else? You're better suited with his STAB.

What else can nidoking do anyway? You have golem and rhydon if you want to take down those arcanine too.
Nidoking is overall good for jobbing.

Gyms causing memory leaks isn't new.

I used to crash from OOM while prestiging a gym like 20 times in a row.

Also the gym menu screen has had weird memory leaks and bugs for a while now.

The new update just made it worse.

All mystic gyms started rising in levels. I have to capture 10 gyms before I'm locked out. This are the end times! Make use of the depopulation!

Just take the gyms down. It's not hard.

It's okay, if the past thread is anything to go by, there are plenty of assholes who go out of their way to kick out teammates so they can get a spot by asking people from other teams to take down the gyms a peg or two or having multiple accounts.

The Pokemon won't care that the ball you threw was a Great or Ultra ball when they ninja dodge or swat it out of the air.

I catch plenty of lv 20+ Pokemon with normal Pokeballs. It sucks and you'd need more than one all the time, but I'd rather waste 20 balls on one mon than a great or ultra ball.

I'm sitting at 190 pokeballs right now, I can't see myself needing more than 60-100, rather try my luck with superballs and get the pidgey for the xp and stardust than gamble it even more with shitballs.

Well it depends.

Great Balls are more effective at higher levels but when I'm actually in the city and swimming in Pokestops, I'm just going to keep throwing Pokeballs at the 300-400 CP Pidgey.

If I'm back home for the night where there is no Pokestop in visible range, I might decide to gamble less.

But I never really throw away Pokeballs or think to myself that they're not worth holding, even compared to berries and potions. It throw out potions and revives by the 50s because I just get so much of them and trying to burn them off as much as I can doesn't help.
