Just done cleaning and waxing as far as one could go with no stands
Dear god I'm not waxing anything ever again.
Gabriel Kelly
I'm not posting any bike? Are honda tards that dumb?
Ryan Reyes

The wheels look dirty.
Xavier Moore
Where do I find riding buddies that are not normalfags?
Aiden Sullivan

You know I do a fairly good normalfag impression believe it or not.

Alright, I'm about to go look at a 2012 CBR250r, asking price is $2800. 2800 miles, looks to be in relatively decent condition but I haven't seen it in person yet. "The previous owner" dropped the thing resulting in some scratches on the exhaust and handlebar end. I've never dealt with a private seller before, should I bring the entire asking price in cash for a test ride even though he didn't specify? This will be the first bike I've really considered buying so I'm not planning on buying it until I've tried a couple others, will I piss this guy off if I tell him that?
KBB is $2900 in excellent condition, $1900 trade in. NADA is $2800 in average condition, $2150 for low condition. Should I be an asshole and make a low offer before I leave even though I haven't tried anything else yet?
Isaac Thomas

Christopher Wright
don't forget the nice seat
Asher Moore
>that pic What's it like seeing the mirror universe version of yourself?
Jace Hughes
Not a single wheelie? Yuo bring shame upon the thread.
Eli Perez
>That might be true no honestly, I have a good friend of mine with whom I ride every other week or so, and the biggest problem is: you can't really ride your own pace. your riding buddy will pull retarded passing manoeuvres and you'll have to catch up to him afterwards, but he'll be slow as fuck in the corners and just hold you off (just an example)
i personally prefer riding my own pace alone and deciding when I'll pass a car myself, but riding together is still a lot of fun, don't get me wrong
Camden Scott
after about 120 km it started to feel a bit uncomfy, but it was surprisingly good for almost the whole time, yes. no wheelie worth mentioning, it lifts front when accelerating, but no sikk #stuntlyfe tier wheelies (yet) it was pretty weird 2bh the dude locked onto me as soon as we could see each other and then after about 70 meters of riding he finally waved and I nodded respectfully towards him
Ryan Gutierrez
Lads I just got my motorcycle license this morning on a rented Ninja 250.
Should I try out any other bikes before I make my first purchase? The dealership that sponsors the place is selling a 2010 Ninja for $1750
I am a complete amateur
Levi Morales
Not me. > Rollsplitt everywhere > parking lot where I used to practice slow speed stuff is barricaded with concrete pillars too close together to fit bike through > went back home after 20 km > boring roads At least I cleaned my bike I guess.
Camden Hall
POST UR BIKE guess which user desaturated my piccie for me
Leo Baker
nah just test ride it without giving him shit, only the real tightarses will make you give them all of the cash before a ride. I purposely avoid any ad that says "cash in hand for test ride" or something similar, it just seems dodgy
Nathaniel Parker
wew i have the same piece of shit gloves as you they are still leaving blue color stains on my hands every time they get damp
Nolan Flores

Adrian Cruz
nice, what year is that SV? i'm planning on getting one when I have my proper license
Thomas Murphy
Oh good. That makes me feel a little better since I'm probably going to have to go by myself.
Leo Morris
2011 SV post the one where I put guy fieri into your seat
does eurodbt approve of my helmet
Adam Cruz
be prepared to walk away. Myself and many others have pulled the trigger on the first bike they tried and regretted it sorely.
Always try to undercut his set price, even if only by a few hundo
Personally I'd say to try and find a different first bike because the 250cc single is a pretty boring engine IMO, but they really are a perfect bike for a first timer.
Josiah Rivera
>finally have money for new tires >no idea what type of tires to buy for a DD commuter >no idea where to buy the tires for a good deal >no center stand so its going to be a pain in the ass trying to DIY take off the rims
Bentley Sanchez
I tried my buddy's Ninja 650 yesterday, not too scary but it still seemed like more powerful than you could easily use without blasting through the speed limit constantly. Quite reasonable to putt around under 6000RPMs though.
I want to try a 250 to give myself a little context, something to compare to. If I don't like this one I have a Kawasaki Versys I'm going to look at tomorrow.
Also I'm not only prepared to walk away, but planning on it unless the guy will give it to me for like $2300 or less. I'd rather not buy anything today but if the price is right I'll go ahead and do it.
Austin King
Does it meet your riding needs? Will you want a bigger bike in the near future?
Parker Miller
what bike I'll find you some tires also there are motorcycle lifts for under 100€
Robert Cox
They are. We run out of degreaser fluid.
Also hard to work with no stands.
Austin Gutierrez
Centerstands are so useful.
Jason Allen
Nice
Jayden Green
I have a Kawasaki "The slowpoke" 500, I can find the tires but Im not sure what site has a deal on them right now and im not sure what type/brand of tire to get.
Also my buddy has one of those center stands that can roll up and prop the bike up a bit, is that gonna be good enough?

i mean it's great when you have a common destination and you can have nice conversations while taking smoke breaks, but for just riding around, i prefer being alone
warum trägt er die maske?
Xavier Davis
BT45 are the tires you want. Best tires for that class of bike. Whatever is lifting tires off the ground will do.
Jordan Nguyen
thanks user, what site should I order them from?
and what if it only lifts off the back tire?
Isaac Anderson

>Ich crashe alliterationen sind echt tight
Cameron Butler
what country are you in? It doesn't matter really too much though, just google the tires and look at cheapest price or ask a nearby mechanic to order them for you.
Jose Cruz
but to come back to your bike: do you like it? as I've already said, I'm planning on getting one, but one of the 2nd gen versions, Are there grave differences between yours and the 2003-2008 models?
Isaac Murphy
Most of the CBRs I've seen have been lower than that, $2000-$2500 in my area. If it's been dropped it should be lower.
Easton Cruz
I don't wanna be that guy but I'm a newbie biker and uh. Is my helmet too big?

>Is my helmet too big? You mean for you? Go to a shop and let someone check who knows about shit. You shouldn't be able to fit a finger in the space between your temples and the helmet, you shouldn't be able to twist the helmet to one side or up/down while turning your head the other way. Helmets usually look big. Whether it fits depends on the inside, not the size of the shell.
Sebastian Young
Honda (a best)
Leo Harris
what jacket is that?
Charles Gray
Post sound Also post sister
Joshua Cruz
Okay, that's what I've been hearing. but the temple thing is interesting because I can almost fit my middle finger to adjust my ear and shit. I thought that was okay.
Juan Sanders
it also shouldn't slide around when you shake your head around in circular motions
Easton Price
I don't think there's any differences, it's identical to the discontinued 2003 - 2008 model except they continued to sell them in Australia with restricted ECUs until 2013? I think
It's a great bike, very comfortable from the first ride on and even though the front suspension is a bit iffy, everything else in the package is extremely pleasing. No complaints so far.
Ryan Evans
The test they did at the shop where I bought mine was to have me put it on, tighten it down, and then shake my head like I'm saying no, and if the helmet shakes around on your head, it's too big.
Helmets are going to be kinda big in general. The whole point is to slow the impulse of your face hitting the road. It needs thickness to do this. But hey, who cares, you get to look like an astronaut.
Kevin Allen
Do motorbikes come with Passenger foot pegs or do you buy them seperately?
Pls no bully i noob
Connor Bailey
anyone in upstate NY?
Adrian King
Aight, yeah, I got one size too big then. because the picture doesnt really do it justice because of the angles this thing is fucking ginormous. my noggin is a little misshapen because of a baseball bat. so it's hard to get helmets. might try 1 size smaller cause it sounds like I got mine too big
Eli Thomas
They come separately usually, they're called rear sets. Front pegs = front sets
Landon Carter
please don't post women
Henry Young
What kind of stupid question is that? Most bikes are equipped with passenger footrests, exceptions for bikes made for track use etc. like Ninja H2R.
Kevin Moore
90 percent of motorcycles have footpegs and some kind of bar to hold onto for passengers.
Levi Morales
Too uncomfy Too expensive Doesn't corner Stale meme
