Cant argue with that.

In other news, the earth is not flat

pretty cool fiero, but its no supercar

yawn

...

>no ecoboost

Miata with ls1 is still better

>ecoboost has never won Le Mans

Kek!

>inb4 class wins

The ecoboost and ford shilling is coming

>lightweight
>V12 NA
>MR
>timeless design
the only ones who say otherwise are kids who are after flashy and expensive exotics

And manual transmission

>yfw a british ((((((kit car))))) is faster

>has never won Le Mans
>Never was called the worlds fastest car

B T F O

Pretty much everybody who has driven one and remembers its heydays during the '90s (even continuing on into the 2000s) agrees that F1 the greatest modern supercar. I remember reading articles when the journos were still seriously comparing the F1 to the Enzo, Carrera GT, and Veyron in performance shootouts when they were new about 10 years ago. These days, comparisons are done for nostalgia purposes as it pretty much gets blown out of the water now by the new supercars, but they always remark on how fast the car still is.

Posting this meme in the OP should've been an auto-ban by now.

True story

if it only has one seat it's not a car.

these are sweet

it has 3 seats.

Go back to bed.

This is one of few protip threads that I unambiguously agree with. The huayra is built like an armani suit but isn't as fast, the veyron is faster but uglier, the laferrari... Sucks no matter what, the centurion looks insane but isn't as practical, the F1 really is the ultimate hypercar.

look mittens, a faggot

>still has never won Le Mans
>he thinks lap times create a timeless supercar

Kek

>needing turbos to beat a car from the early 90's

>if it only has one seat it's not a car.

>Would pay 20 grand for a larger Ferrari badge on fender

>replying to the most cancerous spam on Veeky Forums right now
jesus just shut up and ignore him

I'm not alpha tho
If you want that go find ford and v6 shill threads

Can't, trying to find the second best super car is hard.

>there are only 3 countries in the world that produce cars

Your post is already a fail.

But, that's no F-40.

>trying to find the second best super car is hard.
Only if you hate cars.

See

It actually got banned from LeMans because it was too fast that Porsche and Ferrari complained.

>youtube.com/watch?v=5go8lNmI7vQ
Hear from 0:16

>Porsche and Ferrari whining
Nothing new
>Chevrolet powered lmp car considered too fast
Top kek. Good ole ls7

But still, the F1 beat LMP cars as a gt class car with an Unmodified engine with restrictors and bolted a spoiler and took some weight out.

I don't get it. Is it built in Israel or something? Or did you mean to put """"actual"""" quotation marks?

>losers complain on rotary because Mazda rekt everyone's ass with a dewrito engine
>it gets banned
>mclaren creates the best supercar ever
>it gets banned because it's too fast
why is this allowed? is FIA that much corrupted? how about the competitors step up their game

Not Mclaren. Ultima. They built a Chevy powered LMP car and Porsche and Ferrari got them banned because it was too fast. FIA and the ACO have always been corrupted. Look at 2016 giving BoP boosts too turbo cars against NA cars. Then in season racing, the field is completely balanced

You mean aside from the huge flaw?

>they didn't make more

That's three seats.

Nice Lotus

this

...

>Amerislows

>Production based car winning Le Mans in the age of purpose-built race cars
Yeah, it's the best supercar ever.

>"An Ultima GTR is an LMP car that was designed by Lee Noble in the mid-'80s to run Le Mans. It was quickly banned by Le Mans officials because it was too fast on the track and Porsche and Ferrari complained."

I did a bit of research on this topic so I'm going to play Devil's Avocado because there are problems with this statement that doesn't paint the whole picture and tries to make connections where there aren't any.

>An Ultima GTR is an LMP car
The Ultima GTR was never an LMP car. The closest thing in the "lineage of development" is the Lotus 23. The 23 was a racing sportscar built by Lotus in the '60s. It was designed to conform to the Group 4 regs which Lotus tried to enter at the '62 LM24.
The Ultima GTR is based mainly on the Ultima Mk3 which itself was based on the Mk2 which campaigned in a small national racing series in the UK (the series was funded by Ted Marlow who drove an Ultima in that series).

>designed by Lee Noble in the mid-'80s
Noble designed the Ultima Mk1, Mk2, and Mk3 in '80s. These cars were never built to conform to Le Mans regs or even any expressed intentions to configure it so. The Ultima GTR itself didn't come about until years later in the '90s.

> It was quickly banned by Le Mans officials
Again, the Ultima was never homologated for LM regs so it would have never had the opportunity to be banned by ACO officials.
The old Lotus 23 from the '60s was going for homologation for the '62 LM24, but was rejected. Not because it was fast, but because Lotus did not completely conform to the ACO regs for eligibility.

>because it was too fast on the track
Most likely wasn't the case. Regs change all the time and the Mk2 was already 6 years old. It would've been simple to conform it to the new regs being a kit car, but they chose not to.

>Porsche and Ferrari complained
Again, this never happened with either the Ultima or the Lotus because they never would have had to actually race against Ferrari or Porsche.

It bothers me that the mirrors are so high up.
