$110/month for $1,000 deductibles, zero glass, and good coverage for an accident ($1 million per person/incident, optional basic economic loss and medical).
Admiral, but i live in the Highlands so there's a lot less risk in it for them, also stuck my mum on the policy as a 2nd driver as it takes it down by £70 even though she lives a fair bit away.
I'm in BC. I cancel my car insurance and only insure my bike for the most of the riding season and use it for everything.
56 bucks a month for ICBC basic on a Ninja 300.
here
By the way, cutting to state minimums would only reduce that by about $20/mo. New York makes it hella easy for another driver to claim whiplash or other injury, and they can go against savings/wages in a court of law. So it makes sense for me to have more coverage rather than less.
Yeah I'm admiral too. I'm in London so makes sense.

Happy birthday, user.
This thread upsets me.
>tfw more vehicle deaths per year than any other kind of human-caused death.
>tfw repair labor is stupidly expensive for cars (in America at least)
>tfw people who get hit can and do get away with shit that has no proof (commonly "now I need therapy for my back! That's like an extra $3,000 you owe me!", at least in my part of the country)
Insurance rates are only high because DMVs are shit, there aren't requirements to retake road tests, any asshole can get a license, and nobody takes road laws seriously.
Insurance has always been a point of anger since I bought my first car and got an insurance quote that would surpass the cost of my car after 2 and a half years.

If you plan on buying a motorcycle be sure to take a look at what insurance will cost you. Get full coverage if you do get one. Louisiana is pretty high on the list for bike theft. Thankfully no one steals or crashes on a Sportster so I pay less than $100/ month for full coverage on the bike.

How do poorfags even survive
ive been with progressive for like eight years. plus i have not even a speeding ticket on my record.
besides i financed a car in 09 through a dealer/ then through a bank (see the pos monte carlo) for like 150/ month on full coverage. i think it was that much. i dont remember t b h
i paid that thing off like in 2013
i have both under liability but i dont drive much bc riding a bike is easier, healthier and substantially more cost-friendly
