My prediction is that MC/Goro is going to start off with a significant lead in terms of fanart and doujins but MC/Yusuke will eventually catch up due to a bigger fanbase. Whatever it may look like, I think pairings between characters who are canonically good friends tend to win in the end.

I don't know, I like Goro mostly for suffering too but the subtext with him and MC is pretty decent. He's basically like Ryoji around him and it's stated MC is the closest bond Goro has ever had.
