I thought I was the only one. Right now I'm soloing different monsters with different gear in 4U and slowly going through a new file in 3U making all the gear that looks interesting but not necessarily the best choice. Pretty fun.

I don't think I'll ever play Generations again.

Killing stuff takes far too long in 3U so that's a no go too.

It's pretty clear that they diverted a bunch of their efforts over to Stories. Stories even has Ryozo and Fujioka on it, and the game itself is clearly branched off of the superior 4U version of the engine that runs at over 30fps.
